The set up is brilliant. It is basically a big oval with stops of the main trail. My little boys (ages 4 and 2.5) could spend the entire day here. It was a warm winter day this day. Wearing rain or snow boots would be ideal so they could splash in the many puddles and mud. There are not places to ea...
My adult son and I had a wonderful time walking around and visiting all the farm animals and barn. Great place to be outdoors in a peaceful setting and the fall foliage along the route is gorgeous!
Really great farm that houses rescue animals! There should be more places like this. Well kept and the staff are so friendly. So grateful places like this still let us come visit and see the animals especially during a global pandemic.
Have been coming here for a few years and the kids still live it. They're 8 and 5 now. It's especially nice in the summer, to walk the trails but spring is a lovely time for a visit with the new births. There isn't anywhere for food here so bring a picnic, plenty of places to have one for lunch. A c...
Great place to be outdoor with your kid. There are farm animals and other wildlife. The chicken coop has a wide variety of chickens inside which our son loved. There's a farmers market at the entrance selling the Farm produce, meat, and eggs.
Great place to walk around and see the farm and the animals. I always buy my sunflower seed here. It's high quality, I get a discount from my membership and the proceeds support the farm.
A beautiful working farm run by the Massachusetts Audubon Society. Great family activities and educational events. It is worth getting a Massachusetts Audubon membership just to visit Drumlin Farm!
This was a chill place to wile away a few hours on a warm fall day. We enjoyed seeing piggies, chickens, birds, etc. (I didn t tell my kids they were destined for slaughter.) The hayride was fun.
Suggestion: please get a companion cat for Felix the barnyard cat. And a bunny friend for the injured...
sweet place for a walk around. perfect for a run around with kids or to start a bike adventure. Farm Stand, trails, pastures, birds bugs of course, but bigger beasties too.
We were there in March. It is good to see some ecological farming done. We were lucky enogh to see the first tiny lambs and the end of the sugaring season.
This Audubon location is farm focused. Visitors can see all the storybook farm animals: pigs, sheep, chicken, and horses. Much of these park has good signage, and their paper maps also include a scavenger hunt for kids, and upcoming events for adults.
Drumlin Farm camps are amazing camps that have been very educational. For getting to see the behind the scenes of a working farm and help out with daily chores, it is a must-do. The camps cover most of the aspects of the farm, but always have some fun and games to help it all along. The CITs and Co...
Been there many times. Went again with my daughter who want to see the animals, and there was nothing to see, all the barns were closed. On top of that, they charge to enter. Never going back again.
Open year round, but be prepared for muddy paths. Saw many kids with boots and parents grunting with strollers. It's doable with old shoes you don't mind getting a little messy.
Drumlin Farm is one of my favorite places in the world. I spent every summer of my childhood as a camper here, and then a counselor in training. The Massachusetts Audubon Society summer camp programs are second to none.
Drumlin Farm itself is open to tourists, and is a really fun family experien...
I used to be member in the 70's before moving back to Vermont. Got my start organizing festivals there. Now my son and his family are moving to Massachusetts about an hour away. I'm planning to buy them a family membership. Can't beat it!
Great spot to spend an afternoon with the kids, especially as Fall arrives and pumpkins are abundant. Hay rides, petting barns, education and play spaces; all make for a well-rounded weekend activity.
My kids loved Drumlin Farm! Very fair admission pricing, lots of animals, and they have plenty of bathrooms/hand cleaning stations and even a picnic area. Just a note, buy your tractor ride tickets at the admission counter before you start to explore...the ride picks up at the red barn which is in t...
spent a lot of time there as a kid, want to take my kids there.
dear drewster, there is no pill for obnoxiosness. children are a product of their parents, and if they can't behave in public, it's only a reflection on their training. don't blame them. blame the ones that raised 'em.
