I am giving La Petite Academy a One star rating. My experience with this facility was horrible. I enrolled my daughter and the first week she got strep throat. The doctor stated it was due to bacteria and germs. I get it that children are at risk in getting sick but the first week. I was informed by my oldest daughter that my daughter was laying on the floor without a mat only a blanket. The floor is filled with germs and everyone walks on the floor. Also, when I took my daughter to use the restroom the toilet was dirty with fecies and urine stains. All this occurred during a 2 week period. The assistant upfront stated I will make a note about cleaning the restroom. I said to my self there should not be a note it should be done every day. They only positive review I will state is Ms. Julie was an exceptionally teacher to my daughter. I hope this center reads my review and make the changes needed moving forward.

We have had such a great experience at La Petite. My son loves to go there all year. He has gone to this La Petite for two years now and loves all the teachers and staff. Everyone there is so nice and caring. My daughter loves to go in the summer where they have fun field trips for the school age kids. I don't worry about leaving them because I know they are in good hands and will have lots of fun.

Good facility, teachers are amazing but I always see new faces never the same teachers. My son's teacher was so nice and so helpful but sadly she's no longer there . Assistant directer is real ride though when it comes to talking to other teachers . I didn't like witnessing that . Over all facility is a good environment, it's just really management thay isn't well. Seen to many good teachers leave.

My boys attend this child care facility and they love their teachers! The staff is very friendly, nurturing and communicative. If I have questions or concerns they are addressed. There are times I pick the boys up and they are a little dirty but I also understand that it is difficult to ensure that all children are cleaned up immediately with other children needing attention as well. I haven't had any issues and I love that if I do have an issue I can come to any of the staff or directors. We are very content with the care that our kids are provided! I absolutely love Ms Melanie and Ms Dee!

I don't understand the bad ratings. I enrolled my 20month old recently. The Director Ms. Kari was really helpful, she gave me a tour and introduced me to the teachers. She's always smiling, and amazing with the kids at la petite. I love Ms. Rosie at the front desk, she's the sweetest person. Always greets us with a friendly smile. I also love the fact that the teachers are able to communicate with the parents throughout the day, through the brightweel app. They'll send pictures of your little ones and let you know what they have for breakfast or lunch. They'll also update you on how many wet diapers your little one had. I like that they have cameras in each classroom, and the open door policy. I can just stop by whenever I feel like it and check on my little one. They just got all new furniture and toys. The facility is clean. So far I'm really pleased with the facility and the staff.

I came here for a tour of the facility about a month ago to enroll my two children. Everything was going well and they definitely have perks regarding security and locked doors. However, after my tour I was waiting for paperwork and in the entry it is a clear wall to where you can see into the daycare center. I was easily able to observe one of the teachers in the older class (3 to 5 year olds I believe) pick up a child by his arm and put him on the floor. This appeared very aggressive rather than offering compasionate care. While yes, toddlers can be difficult and moody no matter the case this is no way to provide care or aid in growth and development of children. Once I observed this type of care I was not going to enroll my children there whatsoever.

Facility is dirty and staff is extremely rude to parents and children. They lost a bottle that had breast milk in it then two days later my son was sent home drinking from that bottle. Their policy is that they do not wash bottles so they gave him a possibly contaminated bottle to drink from. It also was not labeled with the child's name or what it contained.

For weeks our child was coming back with empty food containers. After asking the staff if he was eating all of his food they could not answer if he was or was not. They were throwing away food specifically prepared and packed for him. I told them to send food home if he was not eating all of it and after that they decided to serve them their own food against our wishes and doctors instructions and send home all of the food we prepared.

The infants appear to be "controlled" by placing them in a high chair or in a crib. Every day we pick up our son there are children in the high chair with no food/drink and children standing in their cribs crying to get out.

The online system they use to track what happens throughout the day is great ... when they use it. The routinely "forget" to update what my son has eaten or if he has been drinking milk or not. One day they did not log any milk through out the day. When we picked him up it looks like he had been drinking milk but they did not update their tracking system all day. This happens multiple times a week.

They have to fix the weekly tuition amount every single week. For some reason they cannot program their invoice system to have the correct amount show up every week.

We were using the La Petite 5718 Eckhert Rd for the first couple of months and they were great. The Marbach facility needs a complete change of staff. They are lazy and extremely unpleasant to deal with.

I didn't realize that there are a few people unhappy with LPA. Both my kids have been with LPA for almost 2 years now. Every kid has incidents and if you don't think so (and blame the teachers) you live in a fantasy world. My kids love going to Daycare and they love the staff and their teachers. The facility is very flexible with my schedule and they work well with my family. We love LPA so much that I bought my home 10 mins away as I knew this is where my kids will be for years.

I would definitely consider choosing a daycare and avoiding this one I promise you you will regret it because if you so much as get into a disagreement with them they get so shady and make stuff up because they literally called CPS saying my husband hit me and I came in with a black eye and that were starving our daughters and our daughters are being abused. On top of all that when the CPS investigator looked at me and looked at our daughters she was really confused as to why I didn't have a black eye. My husband has never hit anyone in his entire life and I find it extremely insulting for someone to accuse my husband of such horrendous Acts. My husband and I had never done anything to our children we've always been on their side. This is a place you really need to watch your backs with. I don't want to see another family go through this horrible thing. now keep in mind our daughters also did not have any marks of any kind anywhere on their bodies.
