All of the employees know what they are talking about and what they are doing. This is the only place that I get running shoes, as employees elsewhere do not know about running. Also, store does not only have shoes, but clothes, watches, sunglasses, food, and muscle rollers.

Very disappointed with service walked in. Stood around waiting for help. One women walked in after me. The attendant finished with her and went directly to her. Without disregard that I was standing there for 5 mins. Absolutely a moment of ignoring someone of color. Never supporting this company.

Great local store. The staff will do whatever is necessary to ensure that you find the proper shoe for you - not for them. They pay attention to you and do a great job of matching you up with the best gear to suit your specific needs.

Excellent customer service. I went in today to buy a new pair of shoes to fit my new orthotics. Tyler greeted me as soon as I walked in and came over to help me. I explained everything I was told to him by my podiatrist and he immediately made great recommendations. After trying on 5 different running shoes I found a fit that worked for me. I highly recommend shopping at Delaware Running Company and will go back in the future.

Their return policy sucks! I bought a pair of Nike Free Run 3.0+ 2 months ago an put about 65 miles on them and last week the left one started bothering me. I went in and explained my situation and she said she could help me. So she got another pair, let me try them on, and then she asked if I had my receipt. I said no it was 2 months ago but I have a credit card statement with the price on it and the date I bought it from them. She said there are a lot of shoes in the store that cost $99.99 so there is no proof that you bought those shoes and she can't help me without a receipt. She told me to call Nike instead. So I took the new shoes off and left. They just lost a customer!!

Wonderful customer service and knowledgeable staff. I am not an avid runner, but my husband is and he suggested I go in to have my gait assessed. Turns out I have a very mild over pronation. I just happened to already be wearing running shoes that were a good fit for that. I was never pushed into buying anything, but I tried on 3-4 different kinds of shoes. Some were the same brand as what I currently have and a few other brands so I could compare. I ended up buying a new pair so that I could break them in before my big run. I will definitely visit Delaware Running Co. for all my future running needs.

This is a great store with great staff. I came in a few weeks after buying new Mizunos because I had started to develop a lot of pain. I was refitted and sent on my way with a new pair of Brooks at no charge, no questions asked. Thanks, guys!

Went to DRC to get new running sneakers to use for training for a quarter and half marathon. Went in and was helped almost immediately. Liz was very nice and was helpful in chosing shoes that would be a better fit for my feet. She was patient while I tried on multiple shoes and assisted me with finding additional running accessories to reduce shin splints.

The assistance Annie provided my daughter was professional at a level rarely seen. Took into account all needs, wants, and personality, explained everything, and never made us feel rushed. Very pleased with the Brooks, a brand that wasn't really on my radar. Thanks!

I've been going to running stores for over 20 years in multiple states and this one tops the list. Extremely knowledgeable staff that was able to translate my previous shoe experiences and my current running goals into a pair of shoes that has worked perfectly. They didn't have my size (I have big feet) in the model that I wanted to try, but added it to an order and called me when it came in a week later. To add even more to the personalized service, they surprised me with a phone call the day before my race to wish me luck. I've been buying online for the most part to get my size, but now I will be returning to this store before looking anywhere else for my various running needs.

The customer service at this store is great, and they have shoes in a variety of sizes. My mom needed an 8.5W which is hard to find, and they had multiple options. I love the shirts and hoodies from here too!

Had an excellent experience at the store this weekend. Chad took the time to explain the nuances between each shoe style I tried on even though the store got busy!! I am not a pro runner so I appreciate when someone explains the technology and makes suggestions. I as impressed that he brought 4-5 pairs out for me to try on, some stores wouldn't take that time... KUDOS and I will be back!

This store came highly recommended by other runners. They took the time to walk me through different types of shoes to get a great fit. Price wise, they were exactly the same as the mall chain stores, but with exponentially better service, and a far greater selection.

Friendly and knowledgeable. I used to do triathlons but The closest I have come to a triathlon in the past six years is sitting on the couch doing the trifecta Hulu, Netflix, Amazon prime. I couldn t decide which sneakers I wanted so I bought two pairs of trail running shoes. Unknowingly one of the best choices I have made! Both shoes are comfortable. And since I m new to running and have notoriously difficult feet I ve been able to alternate which sneakers I wear and have not had any foot or ankle pain. Thank you to the store rep for encouraging me to buy both of them with the confidence that I could return the sneakers if they did not work out. The store is a 30 minute drive from our house but well worth it.

I found sneakers that I couldn't find elsewhere..staff took the time to be sure that the for was right and I had what I needed. Yes, I'll go back even though I only run when I'm late for a meeting.

I came here looking for a special kind of shoe, as my feet are not usual, which has made it hard to find shoes. I had went to 2 shoe stores prior with no luck, but they had recommended the Delaware Running Co. When I came here, they had the perfect shoe, which I was then able to order in another color, and in a newer model. On top of that the prices were very reasonable, and the salesperson, Sarah, was very patient, and understood what was needed. I am very grateful for how easy it was to find what I was looking for. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for shoes.

Incredible customer service. They helped me pick the best pair of shoes after trying over 5 different pairs. They also shipped shoes to my current location outside of Delaware and they arrived within two days! They have a generous student discount as well. Well run store that I will always return to for my next pair of shoes.
