Love this town, but for this visit they get 2 stars. On a spectacular late September day, with the boardwalk as crowded as I've ever seen it off-season, the town managers sent a stinking, filthy GARBAGE TRUCK up and down the boardwalk AT LUNCHTIME for no apparent reason. Trash cans were empty, and there did not appear to be any crisis that required the attention of an emergency trash crew.
Nice beaches and good restaurants make this town a good destination - romantic rendezvous or family vacation, there are accommodations for all many types of holidays.
Not enough places to get out of the sun for people that have health issues
Probably the best shore line out of all the the coasts to north Carolina
We love the little town with all the shops but the kids on the boards are so unruly and out of hand. Love the beach but is quite overcrowded.
No showers available for after swimming, just small water fountains; side to review.
For the rest, a clean beach.
Its one of the more mellow beaches on the Eastern Shore
Clean, family beach. The only thing that would give it 5 stars is if were dog friendly.
Great place for a day trip or overnight. Good beach. Clean. Plenty of public restrooms. Parking is a hassle. Do the park and ride and take the beach bus-so worth it.
Nice beach.. Crowded, but that was expected on the long weekend. Be prepared to wait a bit if you're looking for parking close to the beach. Parkmobile app is handy to extend parking time. Plenty of places to grab a quick bite. Didn't find any place to wash sand off kids properly..
We had a great time on the beach today...lot of families and fun.
Getting more crowded than when I was younger. But still a well maintained Beach town.
Crowded but only because it's a very popular family vacation spot. If you are looking for a quiet vacation this is not the place to go however if you want lots to do, it's perfect! And my daughter got engaged on the beach!!!!
The beach was clean, but I was there in November.... Boardwalk was very cool.
the parking situation could be improved but otherwise the beach is really great and when the lifeguards are paying attention, you feel safe. When they are not paying attention...
Love this beach. A lot of people but nice. Have nice views. Nice boardwalk. Not bad on parking prices.
This beach gets very packed so get there early!! Loved this vacation spot! The boardwalk has tons of shops and restaurants and you can walk it any time of the day and some at night
Great Beach, Great Boardwalk!! Prices are inexpensive at T Shirt stores
Was the first time there for vacationing with my sisters. Had fun, did a lot of walking, plenty to do near by.
I just dont get it.To be fair we visited when it was cold. The beach is......not something I thought I would revisit.Boardwalk was nice..My backyard has sunshine too.
A beautiful Community, a beautiful Boardwalk, no matter the time of year!
We love coming to this beach. Generally family friendly, clean and calm
Over commercialized. The older part of town is beautiful, but the seaside area is a study in kitsch and bad taste. The smaller less commercialized towns nearby have much more personality.
Our favorite beach destination mostly families and older folks. Great food selection.
It is a very nice and clean beach, besides being able to take pleasure in observing the when they approach, I hope it continues to be so, but it depends on us, so be it, every summer we go as a family, we do not mind driving from Maryland to Delaware .
Lots of activities, family friendly, clean beach. No changing areas if you travel by car. Parking is a nightmare and only lasts 3 hours.
I'm ready to go back but when others are at work. Too much traffic
Nice Beach along the boardwalk. Food options available on Rehoboth Avenue.
If u thought the beach was alive in the summer u haven,t tried all that goes on fall through spring.
We absolutely love rehoboth beach and enjoy visiting our friends who live there whenever we can! The beach itself is beautiful and clean & the water is beautiful. There are some other beaches in the area that have a lot of seaweed and gunk in them, but I think they are beaches on the bay and not the ocean. There is a fun boardwalk with tons of shops and restaurants that are lining the streets leading up to it. If you have ever been to New Hope, PA it is very reminiscent of that town. There's a really fun little spot with amusement rides I forget the name, but at Halloween time it is also home to the oldest haunted house in Delaware. I don't think it's ever changed, but it's so much fun. Shop owners are super friendly and excited to see you. It's also home to the Sea Witch Festival in October which is a great time!
1st time out there. Nice place but good luck with parking.
Great family-friendly beach that doesn't disappoint years after year. The people are welcoming, and despite only being a few hours away from several major cities, you feel completely disconnected. It's also not far from Dewey, if you're looking for a more lively nightlife.
Loved it here not a lot of people here plenty of restaurants parking metered though nice beach good food will come here again seems to be nice hotels didn't stay at a hotel at the time but would come back again loved it here
The boardwalk and beach is nice, but too overcrowded to have a fun time at the beach and so annoying to find parking.
Tourist hotspot. Beach is very crowded and if you enjoy sitting on top of one another, then this is the beach for you. If you are visiting try to come during off-season because during season is ridiculously busy. Other than that, it is a beautiful beach right off the boardwalk.
It's a beach. With sand. And people. And a boardwalk. Good food. Shopping. Sun. Surf. Occasionally dolphins. Just go. Or don't. Have fun.
Been going all my life here. Good family atmosphere and clean.
Always a great place. Went New Years weekend. In the 60s. Boardwalk was packed.
Been to a lot of beaches and I like this one a lot plenty to do here
Cute town, good eats, and great shopping! The beaches and surf everywhere along the boardwalk however, were so crowded it almost it almost wasn't worth the effort. For beachgoers, I'd probably avoid the "downtown" area and venture up a little further. Just a few blocks away from the boardwalk area the beach is significantly less congested.
Went there for the day. Walked around the town. Stopped at a couple of places to get a bite to eat. Also got Carmel corn, ice cream. Nice day, nice weather. About half of the eateries were closed. But still worth it.
It is one of my favorite places to visit. Very comfortable place. Beautiful beach.
Hot muggy night, but still fun to walk the Boardwalk.
