Beach was clean & rather crowded but people were polite & respectful of personal space. Very relaxing. Parking is unreal. No public parking lots. Park of street but for 3 hours at a time. Even with the Parkmobile App.had to run back & feed the meter after 3 hours. Very few handicapped spaces Not very senior citizen/ handicap friendly.

I love Rehoboth Beach, but beware ignorant parking permit salespeople. They charge $90, cash only, for a parking permit but the person who sold it to me neglected to give me the map and information with it. It does not cover anything but parking in permit areas. You still have to pay meters. Greedy asshats and untrained employees suck.

Great family fun! Despite its reputation as a beach for people with a certain lifestyle, I saw nothing of the sort. There are lots of great places to eat and have fun with small children. While the amusement park is right on the boardwalk, it is still affordable and family friendly. The only complaint I have is the outrageous parking prices, although, I was prepared for that considering the location. Be careful not to park in the 30 minute parking, there are plenty of officers there to fine you if you do go over the time limit. I did not receive any fines but I was told they are pretty steep. If you spend a few minutes prior to your trip looking for a hotel room, you can get one for an affordable rate. We booked our room only a week in advance during summer peak season and we still only paid $100/night. I will point out that we were not on the beach though, only about 10 minutes away driving. Overall, a fantastic experience. If you are looking for a nice, family oriented vacation, Rehoboth is an excellent choice. If you are looking for more of a party type trip, I would suggest going a bit further south to Ocean City, MD.

Took advantage of a late September warm Sunday and headed down to Rehoboth for the day. The boardwalk was nice, and most of the businesses along the boardwork were open (other than funland amusement was closed). The beach was open, and there were plenty of folks there. The sand is not very fine - rather rough, actually. But it's clean and cared for - so it's a nice place to spend an afternoon at the beach.

Rehoboth Beach retains the quaint charm of a little beach village while also providing visitors with all the amenities of a large commercial beach. The beach, boardwalk, and water were all very clean. The only disadvantage is parking, but, as long as you are willing to circle Rehoboth Ave a few times, you should be able to find a spot within a few blocks of the boardwalk.

Ya to avoid any confrontation online I will just say that there is not enough conservatism or traditional family ideals. In this place. I also hate route 1 traffic around rehoboth. It is terrible. Oh I see a lowes across the street over there .... 35 minutes later .... here it is! The infrastructure on roadways and traffic is absolutely atrocious. And if I have to wear a mask on the beach I would rather not go. The only reason I never yo to rehomo is because it is one of the closest beaches to me. Not really a fan.

I've been here in 2013 with Work and Travel program and I had one of my amazing life experiences here. People are very kind, helpful and full of life! The beach is really nice and there are a lot of shops and places to see.
A piece of my heart will always be in a cottage by the sea!
