Anthemus beach is tucked in a picturesque bay along the quiet coast of Elia on Sithonia, the second peninsula of Halkidiki. The beach is sandy and part of the beach belongs to the hotel Anthemus beach hotel, which is awarded the "Blue Flag" of the European Community. The beach is 10 km from Nikiti, 7 km from Neos Marmaras and 110 km from Thessaloniki.

This hotel leaves nothing to be desired, the food is great and not just for a hotel! The facility is clean as well as the rooms, all employees are very friendly and courteous.

We even had a small medical problem with which we received great help from all of the employees, we were immediately provided with a German-speaking employee who handled everything from contacting the taxi to informing us in the hospital as well as transporting us back to the hotel.

Here you feel completely in good hands and benefit from the years of experience and the competence of the employees in all situations.

All about carefree is the program here, and no marketing move.

Everything is subordinate to enjoyment .. very good for families with small children, poduga ak islets, always clear, crystal clear, warm sea, with the bottom of the golden sand that glows as you walk on it .. a nice restaurant, excellent kitchen .. friendly staff .. everything you need for a vacation is there, and if you want to go for a walk or have wished for more space, you are close to the Neos Marmaras and the famous Porto Carras, which you can reach by car and the boat from Neos Marmaras ..

A hotel beautiful aesthetically, modern, with spa etc that works mostly with good level tourists. The only disadvantage is the shallow sea in front of it (you walk and you walk and the water on your knee) The neighboring areas are abandoned and untidy and spoil the aesthetics of the landscape.
Overall a unit that could take 5. With a little attention to detail.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. However very very quiet. Except the area and a tavern nearby there is nothing. A visit to the tavern definitely worth it. Super nice and great food. Absolutely stop there! The wellness area of the hotel is great. The price performance ratio is very good. The food is awesome. If you have something to complain about it is your own fault. Overall we had a great week. Definitely recommended for relaxing

The best hotel where I have ever been. All recommendations for this hotel. Every thing here is perfect. Rooms, view, the beach, staff. The food is perfect.

Very nice and top-maintained facility, the highest standards is sufficient for a successful family holiday. Whether with transfer or own journey - the German-speaking staff of the hotel are also in advance by phone for one there. The duplex room is a force and it comes twice a day the cleaning service over. The beach with free beach chairs is super maintained and it is very shallow into the water. The food is awesome, there should be something for everyone. There is nothing to complain about!!! The prices for drinks and food are of course not cheap - you should stock up in the supermarket especially if you are with children at the start.

Before deciding on Arthemus one should keep in mind, there is no bigger place (just to stroll around) in the area and there are also some reasonably interesting places to visit. In the main season it is of course also full and on the weekends half Thessaloniki on the entire peninsula Chalkidiki on the way. As disturbing we also the relatively high number of Eastern European tourists (esp. Russians) with their noise level felt; because you want to be smooth again more English and Dutch ...... incredible

Lovely place! Big rooms and clean with sea view. You can be at the beach in 5 minutes and the sea is so clean!!! It's a perfect place for cool vacation

Nice hotel in direct beach location. Great sunset with beach bar, great service, nice surroundings, ideal for trips with a rental car.

If you are looking for relaxation, this is the right place for you. We were already in this hotel last year and for the first time in Greece. When we left last year we knew we would be back.

This year we were 10 days (from June 12th to June 21st, 18). The rooms are very large (suite no 620), very clean with bathrobe, slippers, kettle and refrigerator. The entire staff is very, very nice, attentive and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day, the towels were changed several times a day. The food was very varied and everything was fresh, salads, many different dressings, fish, meat, vegetables and everything was constantly refilled. The fruit is freshly cut every evening, the breakfast is very varied and here too the juices are freshly squeezed, no automatic juices.

- The only negative point here are the small cups, you should have larger ones ready or put the coffee pot on the table. That's why we always take our large cups with us from home.

The beach and pool are very well-kept and clean and there are free cushions and towels including loungers and parasols.

- There were a lot of Russian guests this year, which wasn't bad. However, they have already reserved several loungers (sometimes 6 for 4 people) at 8 a.m. When we were on the beach around 9 a.m., several rows with towels were already reserved. Something like that doesn't work and I also think that the management, like in other hotels, has to be more strict, otherwise it will increase more and more. Other guests, especially families with children, then have to look for loungers, which is not okay. Therefore NO sunbeds reservation !!!! If someone makes a reservation, the beach boys and girls should rigorously put away the towels, because many guests have been annoyed about it.

But we'll be back next year because everything else is super nice. ..... Let's see if the pool chairs are still reserved or if they are a thing of the past.

Nice, comfortable and very well maintained hotel.
The staff are really lovely and very caring.
But there are few activities there and the food is really not good for a 5 *.
Completely abusive prices for coffee (5 euros per long coffee) and expensive meals at the hotel bar, totally disproportionate to local Greek prices.

A very nice hotel right on the sea, very clean and modern, there is nothing to complain about. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
There are many small hotel guests (0-5 years) since it can sometimes be very loud.
WLAN really works on the beach !!!

Very well looked after hotel, good food, beach very suitable for small children, but to explore the area you need a car

We are now in this hotel. A beautiful hotel area. The beach and the sea are beautiful. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Too bad that the beach chairs at the pool are so uncomfortable. After all, you spend most of your time on the sun loungers on the beach. You can feel the metal bars while lying down. The beach chairs by the pool are very comfortable. The quality of the beach chairs should be equivalent. Schadeee !! Tip: buy aublible mattresses and on it ... so the holiday is relaxing.

We have a rest at the moment in this hotel, it does not at all reach 5 stars, this is a MINI hotel. Territory is VERY VERY small. People very very much. There are no places on the beach, everyone breathes into each other's back. A lot of mosquitoes. Water is paid, for dinner, drinks are all paid, the second day, and already want to leave.

Outstanding resort: 5 star facility, service and food. Perfect for families, couples and friends who want to tour the Chalkidiki Peninsula.
Large rooms, well furnished and with attention to every detail; all (as far as I've seen) have a private outdoor area.
3 swimming pools, in some areas also suitable for children.
2 bars (one of which is one meter from the pool and one meter from the beach, open all day and all evening for sweet and savory snacks, ice creams, coffee, fruit and drinks at any time).
3 restaurants offering all kinds of food and can satisfy even the most demanding guest (meat, fish, pasta, rice, vegetables; menus also for celiacs and vegetarians).
Full board or half board (always drinks not included; not all inclusive).
Staff from all over the village are young, smiling and always available.
Very soft animation (however sufficient for those with children).
Cleaning from 10 and praise.
Very nice beach: fine golden sand, clean water, sun beds, umbrellas and showers for free for guests.
To find a nit: sweets (always the same and not good) and excursions (few and badly organized) to improve.
Still a wonderful village !!

2x a day a free shuttle bus from the hotel to nearby seaside resorts

What can be done better:
Drinks and food (outside the package) are (too) pricey
The fruits (apples, pears and cherries) are hard and sour.
The baklava was not to our taste.

Tip:
You can also have breakfast and dinner on the balcony at the large restaurant, be on time!
The kid's disco was our kids' favorite after dinner
Bring nespresso cups, there is a coffee machine in the room
Take the shuttle bus to Neos Marmaras to visit the main market there
If you like to visit places you will need a rental car, the hotel is somewhat remote

After one week of intense enjoyment, we have come to the conclusion that this location is worth repeating. Relax completely cared for! Oh yes, and for the Dutch .... We noticed that the attendees mainly come from Germany (95%). For the rest, the guests come from surrounding countries and a few from Flanders. Understandably, the staff will initially address you in German.

Very fine and valuable for families with children, good views and very nice beach with sand and very clean.

The Anthemus Sea Beach Hotel & Spa is a rather average 5 star hotel. The biggest drawback is the food that is more like a 4 star hotel. Food repeats itself quickly and is very monotonous, real highlights are missing you notice also at the roofing since style and elegance that a 5 star hotel should have, best example are the rubber blankets, tablecloth not available. Many will wonder why I still give 4 stars that is because, the complex itself is very nice everything is very clean, the rooms are large and bright (had a junior suite). The staff is very friendly and attentive. It is difficult to do justice to the 5 stars in some points which does not always succeed. The beach is wonderful a nice bay who likes to snorkel here is really many fish you can watch. The beach chairs and umbrellas you get free of charge from the hotel with towel. Cocktails are rather moderate as there is room for improvement. Would I come back? since I know now what might be expecting me.

Nice 5 star hotel with perfect beach for little kids. The beach is fine-sanded and goes very shallow into the water. Great for small, who can splash safely in the warm water. OK for snorkeling, there are rocky sections with fewer people and more fish and sea urchins. The hotel itself is great, super nice people, room service is perfect, food very good, both choice and quality.

Excellent beach, the measures are observed to the letter

This is the typical scam - I booked rooms with sea view and was told upon arrival that there were no sea-view rooms. The staff are obviously prepared for this dishonest practice because they refused to cooperate in any way and kept their insolent behavior til the end. This was the worst holiday experience I've had, and I would recommend choosing any other hotel in Greece.

I can only leave 5 stars.
Super experience, with room ("garden view") renovated a few months ago. Brand new, spotless, truly luxurious. Excellent for a weekend of absolute relaxation. The reception also took us to see 2 rooms to let us choose the one that was more to our taste, not that the "seafront view" room was ugly, quite the contrary.

The resort is equipped with all comforts, the restaurant / buffet area in the morning is very well stocked (also Gluten Free) but you have to get help to get the food, there are 2 swimming pools for the little ones and the beach and the sea are crazy , large umbrellas and beach bars for refreshment.

For what they offer and the quality of our stay, the prices are definitely in line.
We will definitely be back, we left a piece of heart!

Perfect for family vacation. Great beach, food and kid"s entertainment

Very nice and calm place! The staff is perfect all of them are smiley and helpful from reception to the piccolo and restaurant. We spent so good! The suite is bright and with amazing view on the sea! Especialy for the sunset!

Great area, great service, German, excellent restaurant manager and great chef, great food, huge selection, private beach with sand and very fine gravel, water very flat, entertainment, but not annoying. And by the way, very quiet, the hotel. It is divided into several low building complexes. Hotel bus runs daily 2 times for free in the next small town and picks up the guests again. On the hotel grounds are bar, supermarket and tavern, two more tavernas are within walking distance outside. And the TUI travel guide Vassili, who grew up in Bavaria and has the appropriate dialect, is very helpful and great.

Superior accommodation, service, food, beach, kindness. On a scale of 1 to 5, a pure 6-point.

The experience overall is wonderful. We booked a junior suite. The room is spacious, with a very large bathroom and shower. The place is spotless. Room service every morning if you wish but also in the afternoon. The staff throughout the complex was polite and always with a smile, eager to serve. Ideal for those who have children. Perhaps more activities could be added for them) .Attractive spaces within the complex and outdoor facilities. The food is top quality, with a great variety. Definitely worth a visit, we would definitely recommend it again.
