Beware worst company every. I wish i could give negative stars. 1 star is too generous. I had to threaten them with legal action after 115 days of non payment. They avoid your calls and lie. i know dozens of others who have the same horror story. Who are these people giving 5 stars with no actual review. obvious people planted to boost their rating. nobody has every had anything good to say about them.

I worked here for almost two years from a paid intern to Associate Producer. I got a lot of valuable editing and producing experience out of it and it was a great gateway to the media industry. The people there were awesome and the company culture was a highlight. I've talked with other people who have felt the same way. The CEO is really passionate and everyone's part is valued. I understand the reviews from freelancers not being paid on time which is an issue when there is a slow quarter. But it's something I've seen them bounce back from and everyone is paid eventually. As an employee I've never had an issue being paid. Overall I really valued my experience here and hope they do great work in the future.

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS! They do not pay their freelance workers. They week after week lie saying they will pay you until you are over 100 days without payments. Ive still not received over $1000 from this company. DO NOT WORK FOR THEM OR WITH THEM!!!

I have yet to be paid by them, and its has been 106 days since the shoot.

Update: I was finally paid, but it took almost half a year. Actors beware and make sure you discuss NET90, NET60, and NET30 and have it in writing when you will be paid, and discuss accommodation in writing if this will not be met.

They have a history of mistreating their freelancers. They will ask you to sign a Net 60 contract but won t actually pay within 60 days. When you complain to them, assuming someone actually replies, they ll tell you the company is restructuring, all small businesses go through ups and downs, etc. It s the same thing every time. Then they may offer to put you on a payment plan, which they ll adhere to at first. But then those payments will stop. If you know what s good for you, you ll stay far away from Magnet Media

Magnet Media is a great place to work. I had an amazing experience as Marketing Intern. It's a nice and collaborative teamwork environment even while working remotely. I grew both personally and professionally. I learned how to be a valuable team player and communicate professionally and effectively with other members of a marketing team. Magnet Media was a great place to intern because of all of the different tasks, meetings, events, and networks to be part of.
