It's just kinda all over the place. I did this program with my 1st grader last year. It would skip (particularly in MUSIC--holy cow those music lessons are NOT for 1st graders-- and a bit in math) from stuff way too easy to stuff that my kiddo wouldn't be ready for for another few years. Fortunately we got through it, but I hated the experience as a parent.

Edit: virtual school first half of this year too. This program is AWFUL. My 8 year old is very bright but the amount of time stuck in a chair reading the most dry, boring text that isn't really even grade appropriate is making her hate learning. We've decided to do most of our schooling with grade-appropriate homeschooling kits and just do the bare basics on Lincoln Learning before it makes her hate school forever.

My kids' school district opted to use Lincoln Learning for an entirely separate virtual schooling option during the 2020-21 school year. All three of my children were enrolled, and only one, my youngest, was able to get good grades. The curriculum is mediocre and uninteresting, and the "workbook" and testing portions are worse. All three of my kids are of above average intelligence, all three were in advanced programs at their highly rated schools. One got straight As but still hated every minute of it, one failed entirely, and one barely managed to finish the minimum requirements. This company is a joke, with little to no concern for truly educating children. This is all about the money they can scoop up from well-intended and overwhelmed districts and parents. 0/10 do NOT recommend. Homeschool your kids at the local library if you must, but don't hand them over to this company.

Algebra 1B has been a nightmare for our family this summer. Trying to learn math online through Lincoln Learning is a terrible experience, especially if you want your scholar to learn algebra. Zero human interaction and the curriculum is messed up af.

when you message your teachers they hardly ever message you back they have a horrible way of teaching you and i would thank god the few times the work was simple and didn't take 2 hours of researching and writing i had to go do google because the way they was teaching was bad the best part was teachers saying good job after getting a good grade i am disappointed in our school district for enrolling the virtual students in this virtual school

As a formerly certified teacher, this online program is incredibly disappointing. Content is not age appropriate and lacks interactivity and interest. The social studies curriculum is particularly horrific (week two of kindergarten included instruction on the three branches of the federal government). Contacting the company resulted in canned and insufficient responses. When pressed, I was informed my concerns had been escalated to another level and then never heard from them again. This company flat out does not understand how students learn and does not demonstrate any accountability.

The company was very unprofessional. They played mind games with the kids about their learning materials. They sent the kids extra materials (their mistake), then demanded them back, then told the kids they could have kept them. Too bad you sent them back. How could an educational company be so cruel to children? Lots of tears in our home thanks to Lincoln Learning. Meanwhile, the necessary materials still have not arrived almost 3 months into the school year. The website has errors, and the worksheets don't reference to which lessons they correspond (making extra work for parents). So disappointing. I do not recommend. Look elsewhere for online learning.

My daughter attends PACYBER and they have chosen this corporation for their courses. Because of this selection, my daughter has experienced severe mental health issues. The lessons are links to random pages. It is all work with no information taught, they expect a random website to teach your child your better off homeschooling your child with no knowledge on any of the subjects.

Lessons are dry and boring, and often use a presentation and language-style not suitable for the age range. We're using it because it's the system our school picked, but I'm honestly ready to ditch it and just homeschool until my child is in-person classes again. Lincoln Learning is just not a good fit AT ALL.

im in 5th grade doing Lincoln and its just stuff i learned in 3rd grade. parents dont put your kids in licoin WE DONT LEARN ANYTHING NEW

As virtual young fives, this platform demonstrates very outdated material.
One example, one of the assignments was to ...chose to be Native or a Pilgrim and/or to ..make a headdress , and gave the Puritan Washed version of Thanksgiving (I did send a ticket with my concern).
I get it..I was taught that 25 years ago.
At this point, it s very disappointing to stand back-watching complete lie being taught, very gender specific roles, and lack of diversity in this program. If your school district offers it as a virtual program, my advice would to simply use Teachers Pay Teachers and homeschool your child, as you would be doing anyways with Lincoln Learning.
