Yet, on August 25th, I received another email with a tracking number showing the item was actually shipped that very day—not the day before as they claimed. Their own policy states that the manufacturer takes a minimum of 8 to 9 days to ship, and in my cancellation email, they admitted some items wouldn't ship until September 21st, 2008. That is plenty of time to cancel! It is obvious they have no ethics or customer service skills. The employees seem driven solely by profit, lacking even basic integrity. Before buying, I checked the negative reviews and the absurd policies. They claim you can cancel within 72 hours because most items ship after 7 days, but they do not honor this. If the manufacturer sends you the wrong item, they will force you to pay return shipping to fix their mistake. It makes me wonder what kind of authorized dealer Lighting by Gregory is if they don't stock a single item and rely entirely on manufacturers. They are a lazy, irresponsible dealer. You might save a few bucks, but when cancellations are ignored and shipping errors occur, you are on your own. Go to a reputable showroom in New York that actually has products in stock.
