Life Development Institute (LDI) is a leading educational institution that offers private and fully-accredited high school, college, and career programs for young adults with special needs. Founded in 1982, LDI has been providing comprehensive support services to students with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and other challenges that can make traditional education difficult.

Our High School Program
Our high school program is designed for students who have completed eighth grade but may not be ready for a traditional high school environment. We offer a supportive learning community where students can build confidence in their academic abilities while also developing important life skills such as time management, organization, communication, and self-advocacy.
Our College Program
LDI's college program is designed for students who have completed high school or earned their GED but may need additional support as they transition into higher education. We offer individualized coaching on study skills and time management as well as assistance with navigating the college application process.
Our Career Program
For young adults who are ready to enter the workforce or pursue vocational training opportunities after completing our high school or college programs, LDI offers a comprehensive career program. Our team works closely with local employers to provide job training opportunities in fields such as hospitality services, retail sales/customer service operations management/office administration/healthcare administration etc., giving our graduates valuable experience that will help them succeed in their chosen careers.

In addition to our academic programs , Life Development Institute provides comprehensive support services including counseling , social skill development , occupational therapy , speech therapy etc., which helps our students overcome any barriers they may face while pursuing their goals . Our goal is not only academic success but also personal growth so we provide an array of extracurricular activities like sports teams/clubs/music/drama/art classes etc., which helps them develop social connections outside of class .
