Such a cool place to spend hours in!! So many floors filled with unique tools and materials. Some of the best odds and ends around can be found here. Plus the staff is just so sweet!

If you are a tool lover or like a good eclectic place to browse, this is a Mecca for you. Everything from hand braces to nuts and bolts, vintage planes, and cool books. Definitely a great afternoon activity.

An amazing place to go and explore. Every time I go I end up finding something really neat to buy and am continually amazed at their low prices. Be sure to go across the street to the Davistown Museum, their old tool exhibits are incredibly well curated and displayed. The Delorme Atlas that has been made into the floor of the main room is really fun to look at.

Needed pinch bar and other demolition tools, bought 4 tools: crow bar, pry-bar, nail puller, and combo pry-bar nail puller $ 15 and change. In and out in 15 minutes - 3 floors of interesting used bargins.

No words can do Liberty Tool justice. Something for everyone. I live close by, and when I swing in, I can't get out. It's filled with cool stuff. Constantly changing.

Some good stuff,
Lots of junk tools that are not readily usable.
The power tools are pretty old.
Make sure everything works before you buy.
Kind of fun to pick thru the detritus of someones dead uncles tool cache.
If U need modern usable tools try AMAZon.

If you like a wide variety of objects, ~ esp tools ~ that are useful, aged, or curious, it can be a struggle to leave. If you have such tools or other to trade or sell, Saturday is the day to do it. Also, there are several floors in addition to a sister building across the street.

Fun. Fun. Fun. If you like old tools and poking around in loosely organized shelves, this is the place for you. Prices are generally great too.

Used hardware cheap. You are certain to find what you need and cheap. Oh love books. Hit the top floor to find tons of old books. I could stay there all day and just read.

Always stop when I m in the area. Tons of preowned tools from automotive to woodworking they have it. Also a book and record collection on the upper floors worth checking out

This has got to be the most unique store we have ever been to. People were saying that there was still stuff here untouched from the eighties. I don t even know what to say! But if you want a particular car part from the eighties, theres a good chance it will be here.

Unique. Bet you can't walk out without buying something if you use tools.

My father was born and raised in Liberty. We visit the tool company and harbor graphics every year. Love this place.

You could spend an entire day going through bins of tools, antiques, and awesome memorabilia, absolutely love to come here, best deals on great American made tools. This is a must stop if you are any where close to Liberty Maine.

This place is epic. I have been shopping here on and off for 30 years. If it's your first trip plan on a MINIMUM of 2 hours. 3 floors and a cellar. Floor to ceiling stuff. Drawers to open, jars to look in, racks to paw through....Prices are really really good. They definitely have a store and not a museum.

Cool place! I'd only go here for tools if I had a lot of time to kill.

An institution, and a great place to look for antique tools and all manner of other vintage items.
What most urgently pleased by is the level of knowledge they have to share.

A tool collection to really get lost in. I went in looking for an axe to split some camping wood. I got distracted and forgot what I was looking for. We found that you are allowed to wander the depths of the basement through the four floors into the heights of the attic. Throughout the store there are specimens of many types of tools, hardware, antiques and books. Every town needs a spectacular collection such as this. From my brief visit I think a person looking for hand planes, sockets, specialty fasteners and antiques would be able to find their needed item. But for a guy just going in to browse... I would just recommend bringing cash to blow on stuff, why not. I think I would be back. I would also come on a Wednesday through Saturday as Liberty picks up towards the end of the week.

Not many shops like this one. Old tools, hard to find stuff, if you know where to look. It's like a treasure hunt!
