Nicely situated on the beach. You can walk straight onto the boulevard from the campsite.
Downsides: many French people on the campsite, you have to be careful where you walk because the children drive you with scooters, bicycles and oxboards off your socks.
Animation is French, our daughter waited for 2 hours until she was picked up by mom and dad and burst into tears, very bad.

We stayed with Al Fresco for a week on the Charlemagne site. It was great. The 3 pools and slides kept the children occupied for most of the day. The beach was clean and the water shallow. Plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance and the campsite entertainment was enjoyable.

This is a nice campsite for a few days. It is a very large campsite with many facilities. You gotta love this. If you like small campsites then this campsite is not for you. However, if you like entertainment, entertainment and mass, then this is the ideal campsite for you. There are several sanitary buildings. The first building we used had cold showers. Then we switched to the other sanitary building and the showers were wonderfully warm! You can go straight from the campsite to the beach. Attention ..... with the dog it is prohibited on the beach in high season. This is only allowed after September 15. In the evening you have some nuisance from noise from the village in terms of music. However, we have not experienced this as very annoying. The pool is wonderful! The campsite is kept very nicely, including the palm trees and the other greenery.
The plumbing was neat. If it is a mess, this is due to camping guests who do not look behind them when they have been to the toilet. The only thing we missed was a wiper to clean the floor after showering.
You can get delicious fresh baquettes at the bakery on the campsite.

5 star camping is not. We were with the camper here and have chosen the place because of the location to beach, shopping and entertainment. These points were fulfilled. However, the place in the high season is very crowded. Since we asked for a quiet place when booking, we were a bit disappointed that our pitch was on a thoroughfare. All went to the beach and in the evening for entertainment, walked past us partly noisy. Make sure when booking and ask specifically if you prefer quiet. The sanitary facilities are not worth 5 stars and would need to be cleaned more often in the main season. Animation was ok, unfortunately mainly in French. The friendliness of the French but makes a lot of good. We would come back.

Super good CC campsite on the beach for 1 week at the end of August ... there is everything to make a very pleasant personal holiday at the top good (mini-market, restaurant, snaking, activity leaders ...)
Clean campsite despite the sand everywhere from campers.
Swimming pools of different temperatures and very nice slides with children.
In short I recommend and I will return next year.
A big thank-you

From the region, we took advantage of the very attractive prices for September. We spent one night from Saturday to Sunday on a pitch. The campsite is sublime but the pitches are not suitable. We are piled on top of each other, impossible to sleep in the morning. We hear EVERYTHING and everyone !! It's a shame we are there to sleep !! Apart from that the setting is splendid! Access to the 3 aquatic areas is really the positive point! Regarding barrier gestures, in the shops it is respected, not the rest. At the reception I was terrified to see a receptionist (although very pleasant!) Approaching very close to her colleagues without a mask while she had it on her chin!
Distributors of hydroalcoholic solutions throughout the campsite!
We will come back but more in location

Be careful with your swimming suit! if it is not the one they use in France they will kick you out of the swimming pool with the worst of manners. This experience alone ruined my holiday there, I didn't even said a word and had no idea about that rule. Better move to another one where they might be more polite.

VERY expensive.

Good facilities, very clean, great position on beach and close to touristy shopping/bars/restaurants. Great for kids. Some roads narrow and some bends too tight for the skill level of some of the drivers with big caravans and motorhomes.

Can use wristband from this site to access swimming pools and clubs on the two sister sites, for variety.

We were in mid-September at this campsite. The first impression was actually quite positive. With a ribbon on your arm you get to 3 different campsites. The location is very good. The beach is not far away. On foot about 2/3 minutes.
The beach is very nice and clean.

What bothers me about this campsite is that the supermarket is quite small for the size of the area. Likewise, the language problems. I can not speak French but English is not always good with English.
The cleanliness of the mobile homes were so well.
Despite everything, I would book again.

Frankly very very well. I have done a lot of camping and it's been 3 years since we come there because nothing to complain about. The children are super happy. Safety nickel and cleanliness of showers good.
There are always some dissatisfied with everything but hard to satisfy everyone.

Beautiful campsite, ideal for families, swimming pool and paddling pool, toboggan for young and old, indoor heated pool. Catering and bread available. Not far from the sea (10 minutes max walk), leaving the campsite access to all amenities (shops, keyboard, pizzeria, restaurants etc ...), no need for a car, we arrive we put the car and we take it back at the end of the stay. Really the holidays !!!

Great campsite 5 stars. I recommend. All types of accommodation possible, direct access to the beach (beautiful and large). Boric space complete and proportional to the size of the campsite. Bakery top, petit commerce top. Bar, restaurant, beauty salon, spa, daily entertainment with live shows seen on TV. A beautiful little town in the city.

Stay from 7/19 to 7/30, family with children.
Positive opinion: proximity to the sea, region not that bad apart from the mistral.

Negative opinion:
- Reception: when we arrive in front of the campsite entrance, the guy at the reception tells us that we are not allowed to enter with the car and we hear him say to his colleague: they have booked with HOMAIR ... it's rubbish I did not understand his problem because I had in my possession all the documents (invoice, etc.) for the stay in Florida, anyway.
- I was attacked twice (verbally) by the 2 guards at the Charlemagne swimming pool and I didn't go there anymore, it was a facial offense but I gave up. There is one who introduces himself to people as the "head of security" but I believe more that it is an inferiority complex.
- Cottage too small for 6 people
- There is nothing that can justify the 5 stars, it is perhaps thanks to the paddling pool of the Charlemagne swimming pool with its military regulations.

Wifi (Wi-Fi) should be offered for free instead of 25 per unit for a week, the signal strength or the bandwidth can be desired and sometimes you can not even send videos or multiple photos.
The pizzas on the camping site are a shame, has nothing to do with pizza, are burned and smell horrible.
Evening entertainment is only in French, smaller words in English, this is in my opinion very cumbersome for the many German-speaking guests on the site.

For camping and local situation you can not wish anything better.
The camping area including toilet facilities is very well maintained and clean.
Shops in the village in front, as well as restaurants, bakery right in front of the camp to a casino shop for groceries and various uses and consumables what you need in the holidays.
The beach is also directly at the campsite and is guarded by Life Guards, beaches are very clean and also the accumulated sand banks in the water are fantastic.

That's why I have 4 stars.

Very, very nice place, really something to relax, the sea is beautiful beach too. Always clean . It is cleaned in the morning. Great area. Nice to relax. It's great for kids. So take a scooter with you so that you can play with other children so that you can play with other children and take flashlights with you in the evening they play robbers and shame. We were in the beach garden. One year in the Mobile Home delux once in the cottege tent deluxe Family with 3 children 1 .7 .9 years. A lot of fun, the environment was great, I can only recommend it

Stay at the Charlemagne campsite.
Warm welcome at 8am. We just signal our presence and pay the tourist tax. We have no information on the possible activities in the surroundings or the activities offered by the campsite during the day / evening.
We chose this campsite for the possibility of "moving" between the 3 campsites except that you have to cross the road to get to the Beach club and to get to the Beach Garden you have to walk a good five minutes. Not very practical with children / teenagers. In addition, the evening entertainment is in the Beach club, so we have to cross the Charlemagne campsite, then the road, then the Beach club, because the stage is located opposite the entrance to the Beach club. Then our 4-person bungalow. One of the mattresses, 1 place, was soiled with urine (odor + stain, photo to support it!) While the bungalow was "checked" by two employees of the campsite before the keys were handed over. After an hour of waiting, an employee brings us a NEW mattress but without protective sheets. Fortunately we had planned. The exterior hook which holds the door open is broken and therefore unusable. The door does not stay open because of this. The handle of the shower turns in a vacuum. Windows only open in one position. It is not possible to open them from the top, it is not very practical. The only strong point is undoubtedly the swimming pool offered by the Charlemagne campsite (three outdoor swimming pools with slide and one inside). The security is not friendlier than the staff. The campsite is limited to 10km / H by car, the staff respects this rule once in four. Finally, the sanitary facilities for "campers" leave something to be desired. Sometimes dirty, sometimes occupied at 11pm by children having fun inside (Long live the noise, the resonance of screams ...). We warned the vigil, his response; I am alone for 3 campsites I cannot. In short. I do not recommend this campsite at all. We still paid the tidy sum of 1200, paid in full one month before departure, for a week in a "standard" 4pl bungalow

Reserved a caravan site with access impossible casi 492 A !! it was necessary to bring a tractor because ground mounted and therefore waste of time (well 3h) the person of the reception looks down on us and tells us that can go see other camping! She tells me that most people are at this site with a caravan, she tries to make me believe that it is an ideal location (no more shadows ..) more broken 2phares and well damaged the back of the caravan touched underneath to get out of the site (the technique was fortunately for us)
I strongly recommend this site with a caravan !!

Really no 5 star. compulsory arrival after 5:00 p.m. and departure obligatory before 8:00 a.m. with the possibility of staying in the campsite but you have to park the dohrs car which is impossible because there is no place to know that the campsite was empty when we left but the host refused who we leave the car.
We were forced to leave at 9:00 am home. 2 days lost on our stay.
On the other hand the mattresses too hard with zero sound insulation with the outside. No 5 stars. I was in 2 stars in the middle. In addition, I reserve 3 days before the stay and 1 day after the price dropped by 145 and the campsite refused to reimburse us the difference.
I strongly advise against.
