LeftCoast: Celebrating Arts, Culture, and Creativity on the Fylde Coast

LeftCoast is a dynamic program that celebrates arts, culture, and creativity across Blackpool and Wyre on the Fylde Coast. The program aims to bring together artists, communities, and organizations to create exciting cultural experiences that inspire and engage people of all ages.

At LeftCoast, we believe that art has the power to transform lives. Our mission is to make art accessible to everyone by creating opportunities for people to participate in creative activities. We work with local artists and organizations to develop innovative projects that reflect the unique character of our region.

Our program includes a wide range of events and activities designed for people of all ages. From large-scale outdoor performances to intimate workshops, there's something for everyone at LeftCoast. We also offer training opportunities for emerging artists who want to develop their skills and build their careers in the arts.

One of our flagship projects is SpareParts Festival - an annual event celebrating transport heritage through art installations, performances & workshops across Blackpool & Wyre. This festival brings together local communities with national & international artists creating an unforgettable experience.

We are committed to promoting diversity in the arts by supporting underrepresented groups such as BAME (Black Asian Minority Ethnic), LGBTQ+, disabled or neurodiverse individuals etc., providing them with platforms where they can showcase their talents.

At LeftCoast we understand how important it is for businesses or organisations looking for team building exercises or corporate social responsibility initiatives which can be tailored according your needs while supporting local community through creative engagement programs like Creative Care Kits which were distributed during Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns helping vulnerable adults stay connected creatively while staying safe at home.

Our team consists of passionate professionals who are dedicated towards making a positive impact on society through arts & culture. We work closely with our partners including Blackpool Council ,Wyre Council ,Arts Council England ,Heritage Lottery Fund etc., ensuring that we deliver high-quality events & activities throughout the year.

In conclusion, LeftCoast is more than just an arts program; it's a movement aimed at bringing people together through creativity.
