It's a small hole-in-the-wall but so glad I tried this place. Their coffee isn't just a cup of liquid like Sbucks and doesn't have that burnt coffee bean aftertaste. I love the caramel machiatto and green tea frappuccino. I'm hooked and I'll be back, A LOT.
Customer service is so-so. I've been there twice and both times the girl seemed to have an attitude. The warm chicken sandwich is delicious, the turkey & swiss isn't anything special. The desserts are where it's at. The lemon tart is perfect. My husband loves their eclairs.
Our "go to" place when in Seattle. It is just around the corner and we love their breakfasts, bakery, coffees, lunches and tarts. You can't go wrong here. It is always busy with a line...but worth the wait! Check out their combination specials.
The best happy meal in Grunyonton (Seattle Neighborhood under I-5 Ship Canal).
Pros:
- Le Croque Fournil Special. No idea what it means, but it sure tastes amazing, and the price is right. It's one of those daily specials, that isn't special, as it is seemingly the ONLY "special" ever offere...
This is an absolutely amazing French Bakery. Delicious pastries. Croissants, tarts, and other treats. They also make decent sandwiches. The breakfast croissant is really good if you are willing to throw your doet away for the day. And theor lattes are always top notch. This is a regular pre-work sto...
Cozy bakery with a good selection of pastries, quiche, tarts, and coffee drinks. There is limited parking in the building next to the flower shop, which I discovered after parking a block away. I visited in the winter, it may be more active in the summer.
I had the pate sandwich which I recommend if you want something very French and flavorful. I also had the raspberry mille feuille which is incredible and a must try. Second visit: salmon salad sandwich with Americano and strawberry pistachio tart lunch special. The salmon salad sandwich is one of ...
I ordered a tart and some pastries to be delivered. Not only they were delivered exactly at the time I requested, but also everything was just delicious and carefully packaged!
Delicious pastries, well made coffee, a real treat to be there. I went there on accident and it was the best surprise ever. Got some coffee and yummy eats, headed over to university bridge to watch some boats racing. Fantastic Sunday morning
Get the breakfast special! What an amazing croissant sandwich. They also have amazing pastries. If you are looking for a quick breakfast spot, look no further! In and out in 10 min, with an amazing breakfast for cheap! Staff is always super nice! Pics included of street presence because it can be ha...
Excellent authentic French pastries & very tasty Chai tea ^^ Meg & I have been patronizing this place since we found it a few years ago. Friendly staff & delicious tasty offerings :)
Placed an online catering order for delivery for a birthday event.
Come party day my order was delivered (on time) but was missing a few items. Additionally a few of the items (mini tarts) were smashed in transit. I called and attempted to rectify the situation maybe ten minutes after accepting t...
Very friendly staff, my husband and I tried their lunch special which includes an Entree, Dessert and Drink. The sandwich I had was tasty and the Blueberry Tart was Stunning 5 Stars by itself (I almost want to keep it a secret...I would hate for them to be out the next time I visit). I also had th...
Great lunch specials! Food is also pretty great and comparable to some of the food I've had in France :) They've also done a nice job having more staff on hand recently.
First impression: I opened their door on a brisk gray morning to the scent of warm butter and fresh bread. The mocha I had was fairly good, featuring bitter accentuations rather than being overly sweet. The plain and chocolate croissants (only two among many choices of croissants) were among the bes...
My favorite French bakery in Seattle. The lunch special is an amazing deal. Small desserts are all tasty, as are the croissants. Order a large tart for special events.
5 stars for a simple cafe. They are fast, friendly and the food tastes great. I came in expecting a cafe with sandwiches and thats exactly what I got. Never too crowded but full, weekends or weekdays. I love the lunch special, drink of your choice, pastry of your choice and sandwich of your choice t...
Only sandwich I've liked so far in Seattle. Pastries were perfect and traditional. When you want French pastries, bread and sandwiches, this is the place.
Excellent coffee and pastries, friendly staff, and half the price of Starbucks. I go there with my kids for breakfast every Saturdays. I need to try out their baguette.
Absolutely love this place. The food is simple, yet delicious. Their desserts are plentiful and diverse. The workers are nice and on point. Highly recommend!
Was excited to grab a quick coffee and pastry at what looked like a delicious french bakery. I was pretty disappointed when I ordered a Mille-feuille that had all the wrong textures and tasted old. The rest of the pastries tasted like I could have gotten them at any grocery store. We then waited 15 ...
Wow! Unnamed crossiants, sliced Swiss cheese, overflowing coffee cups...whoever calls this place authentic Parisian has never been to a "real French" bakery!!!
Delicious French bread, crunchy in the outside and soft on the inside. Don't forget to have it heated up if you want to eat it in the moment. I also bought the espresso chocolate cookie... Couldn't have been more satisfied. I highly recommend and will definitely go again in the future.
French breads, baked goods, salads, sandwiches, coffees, teas, quiches, and a quick and freindly staff makes this bakery along Eastlake in Seattle irresistible.
When I went they were not offering any other food but plain waffle. The coffee was astronomical. It was so good I drank the entire thing in about 2 minutes. I was probably slightly dehydrated also, but that's not the point! It was SO FREAKIN GOOD. For the record I got some kind of belgian something ...
Love the pastries, but don t like the service. The server left my orders left on the top of the shelf, so I had to bag them myself. Maybe I didn t leave a tip for takeout??
