Been for the first time in Lapland Uk with my family - absolutely fabulous time - wonderful organisation - from the letter invitation to the complimentary gifts for my kids.
Its an amazing place which MUST be seen!
Always smiling faces around and very helpful staff - ice skating was lovely , visiting Santa was magical - everything felt perfect 100% recommended place !!!
The magic of Christmas! So well organised and the staff, I mean elves! Are awesome and so great with the kids! And if don't believe in father Christmas by the end of the trip you will! My children absolutely loved it! Well so did we, the big folk!
This place is so magical, I cant quite put into words how special this place is.
You start the day with a magical introduction to the elf s and learn how to great each other at Lapland.
Then the adventure gets started, I can put into words how breath taking it is when the elf s push back that big door back into this beautiful white over magical land!
We had the most incredible day.
Ice skating, baking, we had a story with Mrs Claus.
We wrote a letter to Santa and posted it.
We had lunch in this super cute lodge followed by meeting the reindeers.
Then this fun packed fun day finished with meeting the man himself.
What a incredible experience.
I wish we could do this every year.
It was good and done well, but not magical.
Booking is easy once you're at the front of the queue, the website is really nice, so is the app you can see the thought that's gone into it. Invitations are nice too.
We went in 2020 so a little different to other years I suspect. The performances were great for the kids, audio could have been louder. The place photographs really well, so if you're looking for a nice pic for the gram then you won't be disappointed...try a 1pm slot so by the time you're leaving it's getting dark so you see it in light, dusk and dark.
Everyone describes it as a magical experience, I personally found it very commercial once the performances were complete...nothing magical about waiting around for 2 hours. Ice skating was nice but for me I could have come from the performances straight to Father Christmas and had shops and ice skating after.
My daughter 8 and her friend 5 enjoyed it, smaller child 2 wasn't interested.
Polar express at Severn valley railway or Hawkstone park follies Shropshire were truly magical experiences that I would take over this. It was nice and you will have a nice few hours, but for me the day itself wasn't magical.
I was here two years ago with my 6 year old nephew and my sister and wow! is an amazing place!
Just a truly magical experience for the children and no chance of drones spoiling their Christmas. What may seem expensive turns out to be priceless as they are magically transported to Lapland. The Santa is simply perfect and the characters really do give their all to make it the best Christmas experience for your children. All, from the invitations from Father Christmas to the actual day absolutely blew us away, the attention to detail, the elves, huskys reindeer.. everything was just perfect
I can not recommend this highly enough! The most magical experience we have had!
Amazing place! I would recommend to get an early booking as the price varies from November to December.
Had the most fantastic day! Elftastic!! Mother Christmas, Father Christmas the whole place is just soo magical and fun filled from start to finish. We loved it!!
Amazing venue with great staff. The kids absolutely loved it - a very magical place.
A couple of tips:
1) It is very muddy walking between areas so I would recommend taking a spare pair of shoes so you don't ruin the carpets in your car.
2) Take some spare socks for the ice skating as you have to walk to the counter on the wet floor in your socks.
It was so amazing for all ages, adults too will have fun. Highly recommend it!! We will definitely will be going back!! The Staff oh sorry elfs we're magically awsome.
And best of all you get to meet santa!!!!!!!
All the magic of the modern Christmas, almost as good as stepping in to a Christmas movie. Great sets, actors and storyline to bring a sparkle to the eye of children big and small. 4 hours didn't seem like long enough to take it all in and even with the current restrictions meeting the big man himself was magical for the kids with some very discreet q&a Santa knew a whole lot about what the kids had been up to (or was that the elf on the shelf reporting to him).
I can not recommend it enough! Absolutely beautiful place, such a magical experience! Makes you forget about the outside world, I definitely left feeling I have been to a fairytale world today. A few things worth mentioning: 1. Give your kid s details before your trip so Santa knows what they like and don t like, my son s eyes light up when he hear Santa knows everything about him. 2. I would say it s best for kids old enough to understand what s going on. 3. Wear your wellington boots, it is quite muddy like you would expect in any forest(they did warn us on their website). 4. We only did the initial theatrical tour and ice skating and Santa meet-up which was the main experience part of the lapland, everything else in that outdoor square area are shops selling toys and candies, we thought there s no need to buy more toys so didn t spend any more than ticket price(if you choose to go in, be prepared you might end up spending extra because very very cute toys are available), and the fact they give everything the kids made for free plus the toy Santa gave was enough to make my son extremely happy. 5. All the staffs are the stars of Lapland, they are extremely nice and made the whole experience magical. 6. The village was well set up, lots of attention to detail, as beautiful as you see in the pictures. 7. Delicious food and drinks available. 8. Covid safe, hand sanitisers everywhere and everyone wearing masks(except for the performers of course, but they won t get too close to you).
