My recent appointment at Lakepointe is my last. I waited 2 hours and had to leave without having MRI because of another commitment (even though I was assured I would be done in time). No one updated or even acknowledged me during my wait. Lastly, the person I talked to seemed very disinterested and bothered when I finally asked how much longer it would be.

I totally understand that things happen and sometimes you have to wait but the personnel should be professional and keep you updated.

Myself and my family have over the past few years had several catscans or MRI s. The bill from Lakepoint was 4 times what we usually pay. I contacted my insurance company, BCBS, and they advised me that even though they present themselves as an imaging center they bill as a hospital and that allows for the increase in cost. It appears to me to be an intentional act to deceive and mislead patients
