Komaneka at Monkey Forest

My first visit to Komaneka at Monkey Forest. It was one of my favourite place to stay in Ubud. I've booked a pool villa, staff was very friendly and helpful. Great room services. Lovely breakfast. Will be back for more. Thanks

Best hotel I have ever stayed at. PERIOD. Absolute luxury in every respect. The hotel only has around 24 rooms, so the experience feels very intimate. The pool was awesome, and rarely were there other people in with us. Staff were lovely and catered for everybody. I was especially impressed that they asked whether anybody had dietary restriction at check in. I am a vegan, and they made a personalised menu just for me. Also if we needed to get around Ubud, the staff were more than happy to drive us there for free (within a certain limit). Feels like a perfect hotel for honeymooners. I highly recommend this place!

Amazing place to stay. Friendly staff always going the extra effort. Quiet accommodations that are comfortable and spacious. Food was amazing and the breakfast is a great way to start. Will stay here again for sure. Highly recommend.

People are very welcoming and friendly and welcome you home after a day out exploring. The place is clean and very comfortable. It's central to Ubud so easy to get around.

Very well looked after- the personalised menu (dietary requirements taken care of), the massages, the tours were very good.

Absolutely heaven! Beautiful, peaceful and natural. The most wonderful staff who treat you like family. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this resort chain. The rooms have so much space. Big bathrooms.... they provide free bug spray in the room. That was a pleasant surprise.
The staff are respectful. Feels very homey.... Also, the breakfast was great! Lots of choices.

We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Ubud in February, and not recommend the hotel enough. The location in the centre of ubud is fantastic, but the private chalet style rooms are set back in the private gardens, and are very quiet and tranquil. Breakfast is varied and interesting, with a range of balinese and western dishes. Just down from the restaurant is the naturally salted infinity pool, which is good for doing lengths as well as just cooling off. There are also a range of activities that the hotel can arrange for you. We did the complimentary offering making and wood carving lessons one afternoon, which were great fun. We also arranged a private tour to some of the temples, volcano, rice paddy, and a local wood carving centre, and would highly recommend this. A complimentary afternoon tea is served every day, and includes a range of of delicious local cakes, which we enjoyed every day. All of this aside, the best thing about staying here is the staff, who are hugely welcoming, friendly and helpful. That is what would bring us back again and again.
