Great lunch today. I am an unashamed meat eater so when my daughter suggested this place for lunch I did an inward eye roll. However if all vegan food was this good I would happily convert. Delicious and great presentation. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommended.

Hands down the best cafe/restaurant I have ever been to. Amazing staff, insane food and beautiful decor (best coffee too). Even if you arent plant based you will love it here!

The name says it all . Gluten and dairy free products , fantastically fantastic .

Totally vegan and with an amazing selection. Toiletries and cleaning supplies as well as sweet and savoury foods and ingredients. Ambient, fresh, chilled and frozen foods from around the world.
There's a building range of homemade foods too, I suggest trying the herby hollandaise.
I'm looking forward to trying more of the amazing selection.

My friends were so surprised that this was an entirely plant-based cake. Really glad that I got them thinking (even for a min), you really don't need eggs or dairy for a delicious cake. And do checkout the cupcakes and donuts at Kind Grocer. They're heavenly.

I purchased the "After Dinner Mint" and "Peanut Cacao Fudge" raw slices on Saturday night. I love that Kind is open on a late night and still have raw slices available for a healthy treat when having a night in. These were the best raw slices I have ever had! The flavors were perfectly balanced and present - not sickly sweet either. Also the server on Saturday night, he was absolutely lovely to chat to.

Awesome atmosphere and super accommodating to dairy free, gluten free and vegan. Will definitely be coming back and will have to try the cotton candy dish!

Best vegan cafe in Dunedin, hands-down. Friendly owners and a great selection of groceries and baking make this a must - visit for people on a vegan diet.

So many good salads to choose from! Really loved time spent here, my dairy-loving parents went out and bought two litres of oat milk right after - we ll make vegans of them yet not pictured are the amazing desserts & lovely service we also received! I came in for breakfast yesterday morning and got the big breakfast - my oh my, this was DELCIOUS! Beautifully presented and full to bursting with flavour. I'm not vegan/vegetarian and it tasted better than any standard brekky I've had with animal products! Absolutely beautiful coffee too! I'll be back and highly recommend Kind Company to anyone and everyone.

This is such an awesome shop!!! Great range of vegan grocery items (including bulk stuff!), treats, chiller food, if you've been looking for it they probably have it! Annnddd.... The cabinet food is amaze, especially the doughnuts

Went for a late breakfast on a Tuesday. After we ordered we had to wait 25 minutes for the food to arrive although there were only 2 other tables occupied. Also a couple arrived 10 minutes after us and got their food before us. Not to mention that at first I got delivered the wrong dish.
Food was good, big portion size. Mushroom ragout was good although they seemed to use dried thyme which overpowered quite a few of the mushrooms flavours.
Not sure if I would come back.

I really liked my visit to Kind Grocer! The store smelled sooo amazing, like essential oils. They had plenty of specialty items, such as Nori, Agar Agar, and many beauty products - you should visit if you are looking for something 'unusual'. Lots of vegan items at very reasonable prices too. The lady who served me was really kind (living up to the store name!), and the store was very clean and well-organised.

Perfect for vegans, service a bit slow as only one person appeared to be working...

If you didn't think Vegan food could be totally amazing then you haven't been to Kind Company. You have to try their donuts . SO GOOD
