Nice area to enjoy. Best time to visit is during evening or just when the sun goes down in my view. Plenty of activities for families. It is where you can explore Lyon on foot.

Very beautiful place very beautiful city but at the moment in full construction as in Paris Lyon is not the end of the world with OUIBUS 6h comfortable bus clean 3hTGV can be made the go and the return of the day monoprix open Placce BELLECOUR until midnight on feels safe

Lyon is a lovely city with lots of historical sights and buildings. Would be good to have stayed longer

Inside the square there is a very convenient Info point, where there should be at least 5 employees for the different languages. The Italian one is also present (even if the day I went I was missing him).
One of the largest squares in Lyon, it is very nice that they often organize large events inside.
In addition to the square, you can also see the Basilica of Notre Dame de Fourvier in the background.

I am a very big lover of this place and the city center
A tip, you have to go by metro because it is almost impossible to park.
There is a small park for the little ones I take my son every weekend if not a scooter and bike and I take a coffee in one of the terrace that adjoins the place

Huge iconic square in Lyon. Not the prettiest for my taste but its size is spectacular and its central location. In winter, you can take a ferris wheel ride, in summer, you can stroll on a terrace.

It's nice to go through this big place during city walks. Several small events take place on this one (small sports activities between young people, rallies for the events or for exits skating for example, the big wheel is also very beautiful during the winter, etc ...). But in summer it's too hot to stay in the sun.
