Fantastic experience at Kelsey Chevrolet. Walt took the initiative to locate and bring from another dealership the vehicle I was looking for. Very smooth communication and took care of all the leg work for me. Josh was very helpful and knowledgeable of the vehicle and explaining all things I needed to know before purchasing my new truck. Steve took care of the financing and had me in and out of the office within 10 minutes which was crucial with the limited time I had to give. Kelsey Chevrolet took great care of me. Fast, friendly, and I felt like family by the time I left. The communication with this team is top notch.I couldn't be happier with my overall experience and will recommend anyone to step foot in their dealership the next time the need approaches for a new vehicle. Thank you Walt, Josh, and Steve for being so incredible to work with.

This place is great. Great service. Josh and Chris were both attentive without bring overwhelming and did not use any high pressure sales tactics. I was set on not buying today but will definitely be back to buy from them this month because they were that impressive and found me the right vehicles.

This was my first experience at Kelsey Chevy and I can honestly say we have found our new home for car buying. This was our 6th new Chevy purchase in the past 7 years and I can honestly say this was the best experience we have ever had. Jay was the best sales associate I have ever worked with, and the finance process was so smooth. When we stopped in without an appointment we fully anticipated being there for HOURS, but the fact of the matter was we spent less time at the dealer than times in the past when we had an appointment. I truly feel like I was treated like part of the family.

For starters, the dealership is listing vehicles above MSRP. When we were trying to negotiate terms, the finance person (I believe his name was Chris....?) tried to of course screw us over. When I told him the price would need to go down because as it stands it was over the MSRP he offered a $500 decrease which still made the truck over MSRP. He tried to pull the "we won't make any profit on this if we go lower" card out and since we're not stupid we fought back. I told him it was still over what the Manufacturer is recommending the truck to be sold at, he said "the manufacturer has nothing to do with it. When I told him the MSRP was what the manufacturer is suggesting the retail price be, he argued with me saying I was wrong and that it was the market price. When a person representing a dealer can't even tell you what a well-known vehicle sales acronym is, you know they aren't someone you should deal with. They also tried to low-ball the trade-in offering $9k on a 2014 Patriot and then only went up $500. Then they tried to say that the dealership will not earn any commission, incentive or money for making sales. These are some of the worst people to deal with who apparently do not know simple car terms. Sad thing is that we were looking to buy two vehicles from them and now are giving our business to someone else.

Ken Nieman was very helpful in purchasing our new Equinox. He tracked down the vehicle I saw online, which was not on the lot at the time. He also reminded us that we had a GM family member, which was able to save a "chunck of change". After the sale, he helped us navigate through some of the common electronic setups (phone, On star, etc).

My husband and I went in this morning to look at the used vehicles at this dealership. We found a nice deal on a GMC Denali, took it for a test drive, and ended up really liking the vehicle so we decided to buy it. During the financing process, the dealership was working with a few different banks to get our monthly payment down to where we needed it to be. They told us it might take a little while, so we asked if it was okay to leave and get lunch and get an errand done. They said it would be no problem at all and they would let us know what the final number was and we could come back in to sign the papers. A few hours went by and my husband finally got a text stating that the vehicle we were intending to buy was sold. They sold the car out from under us!! We were never told that another party was interested in the same vehicle otherwise we would have went right back in! We were never given the opportunity to come back in first to finish our deal. Not only is that a horrendous way to treat someone that is about to spend a ton of money at your dealership, it also an incredibly sleazy move. I have never been more disappointed in a dealership before. Just be up front with people and tell them someone else is interested. You're dealing with people's lives here. Absolutely bad business practices. My advice? Never buy from this place. Stay away.

So based on my expereiince to engage Kelsey Chevrolet, they failed to meet my expectation and contrary of their expressed and advertised committment. They're in business to sell vehicles and provide quallity service of the purchased vehicle. Did I really think anyone is interested in, what I would assume to be, their very nice family, your nice children and grand children, which in turn, has no corrolation to choosing Kelsey Chevrolet to purchase a new or used vehicle? No. Rather, I found it insulting and patronizing as a potential new customer, by reinforcing the perception of the self-centered "ego factor", when it comes to locally owned car dealership owners. As in marketing 101, where were my customer benefits within their strategic, yet misalligned message? They have chosen to advertise an expectation they simply didn't deliver.Simply put, I experienced none whatsoever.

Made a service appointment online for 8 A.M. get to the shop at 755 and they tell me that he doesn't have record of my appointment. I showed him the email. He tells me that even with the email confirmation it doesn't communicate to his system and that he can't even LOOK at my car for "several hours". I ask what the point of an appointment system is if you don't have record of anything. He tells me he doesn't know and looks at me blankly. I will not be coming back to this dealership any longer.

Brought my car in for a leaky trunk and they were able to fix it, I had to bring it back to get some of the sealant removed because it was visible from the outside, but they took care of that issue and were very apologetic. Stephen Nelson was the gentleman I was working with and he made sure I was happy every time I left. The biggest thing is they offer loaner cars to people under 21, unlike other dealerships I went to. I would definitely recommend these guys, they take care of you and make sure you re happy. Only reason I m giving a 4 star review is because I had to return to get the sealant issue fixed. Thanks Stephen!

Took a Chevy SUV there for diagnostics on AC. Had cold air only blowing out the drivers side. Hot everywhere else. Was told no leaking, full of refrigerant. Just an actuator. $370 later still same problem. Explained they fixed nothing and was just told I'd need to bring it back in for more diagnostics and see what we can do. Return trip finds leaking hose between the condenser and compressor. So instead of 1 trip and less hours of work, they gig me for 2 services and nearly $900 later total. No attempt to make it right since they didn't find the leak the first time. Also after the first visit, the left side speakers in the SUV quit working. Worked fine before. They claim speakers are blown. All 3? All at once? I don't think so. The response from the service manager? "It is what it is, I can't really do anything about it". Not to mention, $104/per hour rate. That's doctor's wages. Don't go to Kelsey.

If I could give this a 0 star I would. I bought a used 2009 Ford Taurus off of Kelsey Chev back in 2016. It wasnt a cheap car either, it had low miles, around 66,000 when i purchased it. What was suppose to be a decent car that lasted me awhile, this car has been a nightmare since i got it. Coil issues, brake issues, all within the first couple days. Had to be brought back 3 different times for service to look it over within the first 3 weeks!!! Rental car provided to me by "now fired sales person" was a trashed trade in that looked like someone had lived in it for days before they repo'd the vehicle. "cigar insides, bags of trash, ruined upholstry, ect" I was suprised to be given this car, and that no one had bother to check what was being given to a customer...After all of this, the original problems on the Ford have started to come back, just a year later and i have tried to go back to Kelsey to buy a newer Vehicle and get out of this one. However....I was told at the dealership from Steve Arnold himself that "sometimes they take in lemons, and there is nothing they can do about it, and that I should just stop talking about the previous experience because it doesnt matter. The pass the buck mentality, and "It wasnt me who sold you the car" just reeks of bad business. I am writing this because some people actually do check this review stuff out and I want them to be aware about Kelsey's commitment to their customer base( or lack there of) and lack of integrity to do the right thing. Please consider this before choosing this dealership...i wish i had been warned before going there myself

Good afternoon Walt, Bay and Paul!

I just wanted to personally thank you for the past month. I was a complete emotional and physical mess when I walked into your place the day of the accident (I'll admit). Having Bay and Walt there to welcome me as soon as I walked through the door was the most awesome thing that I could have asked for. You did something that you didn't have to do by comforting me and telling me that everything is fine and you were there for me with whatever I needed. It was so nice to know that I had the 3 of you to take care of me and whenever I saw you around you always had that smile on, asking how I was doing (not to even mention that you didn't have a worry in the world that I still had your loaner car). You were so kind, comforting and patient that I literally did feel like you were treating me as family. Yes, I have had a great experience with getting BOTH cars from you but the way that we were treated as family is the best thing about the Kelsey's. I just can't thank you enough!

I will be willing to advertise for your family anytime!

Thanks so much! Jamie

Ive been shopping around for the "right" vehicle since last October. I finally found one this morning here. After being there for 4 hours, waiting patiently while the used car manager worked diligently to get my numbers where they were perfect for me. Had a few things to do, so he said it was ok to leave. As I was getting ready to go back a bit later, I get a text saying the vehicle was sold to another party. It wasnt sold thru the used car dept either, so the dealership lacks in communication! The keys were on my salesmans desk as well. Some other salesmen came and grabbed the keys, without finding out that there was a deal on the table. The lack of communication and care given puts this dealership in the same category as a few others in the area. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!! Even after confronting managers about this situation, all that was said was, "it happens". Thats a lot of BS. I leave there empty handed, and with hits on my credit report. No offer to try and make up for it with a similar priced vehicle either.

Will never be back here again. Simply told them I was just there to look and next thing you know I m being pressured into doing a test drive and a credit app. Had plans for the day only had a few minutes and ended up being there for like 8 hours. WAY WAY TOO PUSHY!!! Seemed more about getting a sale then it did helping someone out.

In 4 or 5 visits (purchase and service appts) I have been treated with nothing but respect and kindness. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I will have my vehicle serviced elsewhere when my warranty expires as everything is incredibly overpriced in regards to service.

Just wanted to let someone know about the care I was given at your store. The wife and I were visiting the casino down the road from you. Upon heading back to Knoxville, we found the low air pressure light on. This being my wifes new corvette, she made me pull over right then to your dealership to have it checked out. I was well taken care of. Sorry I forgot the service writers name that helped us but I want to say THANK YOU. I never mentioned it then but I will now, the funny thing about this is I run the sales department at an auto dealership in Knoxville. We know how important it is to treat people well.------THANK YOU, Tony Patrick

I came into the dealership as my low coolant light had come on earlier when I was on my way to work.
Being that it was a Friday and they were very busy also I didn't know if they had the time for this but they were very cooperative and helpful.
I asked them to please check the level and also see if there were any leaks or leakage under the vehicle. Also while I was there I ask if they would reattach the right lower valance to the car as it wasn't and needed to be and they also did that.
All of this was done while I waited and then to my surprise at no charge.
The service writer was very good and did what I had asked and yes I will be back when my 97 Cavalier needs service and also when the 2013 Impala needs it as well. I have been bringing both cars in for oil changes and with the Impala since it was under warranty as well they have been the servicing dealer.

Again I had a good experience and the service writer was very good and took car of the problem.

I will be back when needing service,

Thanks,

Kelsey Chevrolet is the BEST! I can t say enough about how happy and satisfied we are with Tyler and Rico. They both went well above what any other car dealership would do. I was talking with Tyler and told him we had been working with several dealers across the country the past month plus before we bought our Vet from Kelsey Chevrolet, and yes, we plan on enjoying (my wife s) car. No one would took care of us like they did.

Tyler was great and extremely responsive. He stayed in touch and made arrangements to ship the car to us in Hawaii.

Mahalo (thank you),

Purchased our 2019 Suburban from Brad Johansen and will definitely be back to buy again in the future. We drove a hour after work and took longer than we should of to make a decision, but Brad helped us the entire time. So if you are looking to buy a new car, ask for Brad.

as too the sales team they do not give referral money like they say waited on mine for 3 months now .
service desk is fine mechanics doing repairs not so much took my car in for a recall 2016 camaro ss 9981 miles and when got vehicle back next day stopped back by and told them that the car now shakes makes noise and steering wheel is turned to the left and pulls
just going to fix vehical my self as i should have done in beginning as i do the same repairs but figuring that the car is a lease i was better off for them to do the repairs so it was on file there guess i was wrong car says service rear camera and was told software probably but didnt car that car has problems
if you need car fixed i would look at all places for how they do before choosing to have that repair facility do the work
i learned my lesson that just cause it dealer doing repairs it comes back with more problems than goes in with

The staff at Kelsey Chevrolet is top notch. My mother-n-law and I made an hour drive, twice, to come see what this dealer had to offer after receiving a coupon in the mail. Nervous to come see what they had and what they could do for us, we headed down to the lot. We were greeted by Kelli, whom I had spoken to on the phone. She introduced us to Jay, and from there, it was golden. We can't thank Kelli, Jay, and the rest of the staff enough for the great, quality service we received. You treated us like family. I'd recommend anyone making the trip to Kelsey Chevrolet to purchase a new/used vehicle. I won't shop anywhere else.

I purchased 2013 Silverado last year at Kelsey with Goodyear tires manufactured in February of 2015. All 4 tires are splitting at the rim up to 3/16". They are Goodyear Forteras. The dealership service manager said they are not covered under the manufacture's warranty because the tire manufacture date falls 5 weeks out side of the recall date. When I called Goodyear; they sent me a claim number and gave me another dealer that can help me in Florence. I know now who to purchase my next vehicle from.

It is always my preference to purchase from a local dealer with all things being equal. With Lawrenceburg Chevrolet being an all service dealer that makes it a very big plus.

I have dealt with Jay Loos on several vehicles over the years. I always feel like he is a very straight shooter and gives me the best deal possible. I would definitely sent a friend or anyone that I knew that was in the market for a new or used car.

My mom was looking for a vehicle . Someone told her to come here to get a vehicle so she went and looked once she found one she asked em how much for it and how many miles was on it they didn't tell her nothing until she signed papers .they didn't even give her enough time to read them . Then when she got it home she realized that she was smiling gas really bad . So she had me to go under the car to see where the smell is coming from. i seen where the gas tank was wet I smiled it. it was gas leaking from somewhere . So I went back inside to tell my mom . Then I told her I'm going back out under the car and take pictures of it . To show em the next day to see if they can fix it . So she went back the next day she told em and showed them the picture . Then my mom called me and said that they didn't find no leaks and they also had to call a customer and he was on their side she also said I want my money they said they can't. When she went to Walgreens in Florence Kentucky to pick me up I seen a stream on the ground that looked like water but it wasn't . It was gas I seen where it was leaking so I went a tool a of it leaking . Then the next day we went back to raise heck with them . They still didn't believe us even though we had proof . So they said they'll fix like they said before . DO NOT COME TO (KELSEY ) they are a JOKE

BUYER BEWARE!!! I was made to believe that they were including the under carriage spray and seat cleaning for 2 years with the purchase of my car. Then i find out i was charged $2,000 to my total. Yes i did sign the papers saying i would do this but that was not said to me EVER that i was paying for it. When the papers were signed he said heres for your undercarriage sign it. NO PRICE WAS GIVEN. When i contacted my salesman who was Ken Neiman he said he told me it was included in the payments. He acted to me like it was an extra like a perk i got for buying the car. He also told me i would receive 2 oil changes that i did not get. And also a friend referred me. This was Ken Neimens child hood best friend. He would not give my friend the $100 referral he was promised because he said that i did not sign a referral paper. He did not offer me one. He talked about my friend the whole time we were waiting for financing and said my friend owed me lunch for the $100 he had to give him for the referral yet denied him the referral. Must be pretty hard up seems like he made money off me. I have definetly learned this time but please be aware of "included in the payment" I don't want someone else to feel taken advantage of because you thought someone was being nice and throwing something in.

Seemed a little slow, all we did was test drive one vehicle, agreed to buy it, do the paperwork, but at least they had a good stock of candy, and no one chewed me out for making my own popcorn in the popcorn popper. Can't get more than three steps from your car without someone greeting you, that is way better than the other way.

I feel our trucks are running at their best after our Kelsey service visits. This helps to have confidence in the people that service our investments. I hope it's possible for your team to diagnose what exactly was hi-jacked by the McCluskey Chevrolet service team through the unauthorized complimentary multi-point inspection. Thank you Kelsey service team.
