Kcuc

I was recently referred to this practice by my PCP. I had my 1st visit at their NKC location with an APRN named Ashley, (who I am told is no longer there). During the course of this visit, she said I was going to need a further "delicate" procedure performed. She said that using gas in the procedure would cost an additional $100, not paid by insurance. As I checked out, the woman in the reception area stated the gas would cost $120. When I tried to explain the conversation I just had with Ashley she had no concern other than to tell me to be sure to pay it BEFORE the procedure. So on 3-4-24 I called to pay for the procedure and was told that now the gas would cost $125. I stated I wanted to speak with a supervisor and I was connected to a Brandy. As I explained my story I told this woman that I was having a very high level of anxiety about this process as a whole. At which point she laughed at me. I then said to her "I am glad you think this is funny, because I do not". And that's when her backpedaling began. I told her the practice needed to honor what they told me, it is not my fault their employees are not trained well. I just hope & pray the doctors there are better than their office staff. If you are going to this practice pay very close attention to your billing & triple-check EVERYTHING. GREAT 1ST IMPRESSION OF YOUR PRACTICE!!!
