I love karamu and the mission to pour back into our community as it cultivates the Art's and talents of others.
Very lovely theater. I enjoyed the experience I had at the Karamu House. I arrived ten minutes late and was politely escorted to my seat when the timing was right. Viewing a performance of Elton John and Tim Rice s version of Aida," left me amazed and entertained. The actors were lucid and energetic. For a play, that I believe lasted two hours, had gone by so fast due to the actors never letting a moment get dull. And overall I recommend everyone visit the Karamu House at least once, the music, choreography, and atmosphere are lovely.
Great experience. Smaller venue so all seats are good

Karamu has always been an amazing place with an extensive history. Had a great time here.
We have been to Karamu for several plays, always thought provoking and intelligent, and most recently for a brilliantly fun night of stand-up. Karamu is without doubt one of the most inclusive and finest institutions in the U.S. - embodying the real vision of this country being equality and justice. If more people in our society would engage with places like this that always have the hand of friendship stretched out, regardless of race or religion, the world would be a better place. Karamu always welcomes its visitors with open arms.
