The problem is the kayakers and surfers who use and pay for the service are forced to sit out side in the cold or under the influence of the wind chill. No kayaker or surfer has time to get changed when they want/need a break especially at those prices. A warm beverage and possibly food is essential as they have spent time in or on the water with their core temperature being lowered by the aquatic environment. As a visitor I have the choice to sit inside or outside. You would think that a business that survival depends on the paying guests would provide adequate protection from cold and wind for sports persons needing a break. The park it's self is super.

Love this place, it's a great whitewater park. Give that Berlin is situated on a geographical pancake with no mountains or whitewater anywhere this place is an excellent alternative. It's about a 2.5 hour drive from Berlin, with some campsites nearby if you want to make a weekend trip.

Most of their business is geared towards rafters, but kayakers are more than welcome as well. It's possible to rent all the gear there, but it's pretty basic stuff. It's worth bringing a short playboat to make the most of the (shallow) playspots on the course.

There are two channels, usually the main channel runs most of the day, with the second channel (aimed at beginners) running in the morning and lunchtime. There's also a 'power hour' on the main channel once a day - they release more water, resulting in a fun, pushier courses and better, deeper playspots.

The park is generally open every weekend from about May until end of October, but the exact dates and hours change every year, so check the site in advance before planning a trip.

Great set-up, clean water, friendly staff, highly recommended!

The terrace restaurant is great. Here you have a great overview of the entire system. It is also possible to watch the boat-water spectacle from outside. Our child loved it. There was also a grill stand. The staff was always very friendly. The next visit is planned and then off into the water. Top.

Just really good. The best way to book rafting in advance on the Happy Rafting Days. Since you can raft for 35 per person 2 hours. Of which is an hour explanation and safety instructions, but the second hour it goes fully into the wild water channel. Forward, backward, sideways. Everything your heart desires is there. Just great.

Breakfast until 12:00, the portions are huge. The scrambled eggs are great, as are the homemade lemonades. Highly recommended! The card is available as a QR code on the front door and on the tables. But you shouldn't assume that every guest has something like that ... The card was then available in printed form.

I was traveling as a photographer for my friends today, that was very exhausting, getting them in front of the lens. ;-)
There is a lot of green around the grounds where families can have fun. The whitewater facility was a lot of fun for my friends and the two girls. 1.5 hours everything took, with instruction of about 30 minutes.
A beautiful beach where you can make walks on the lake, children's playground and a canoe rental are also available. The possibility with the trip steamer over the Markkleebergsee to schippern exists also.
There is also a small restaurant, with the possibility to sit outside and have the right view from above.
There were great hours we spent here in the canoe park. :-)
Parking is enough in the area.
