Justice Democrats: Building a Progressive Future for America
Justice Democrats is a political action committee that aims to transform the Democratic Party by electing progressive leaders who will fight for bold solutions and represent their communities in Congress. The organization was founded in 2017 by Kyle Kulinski, Cenk Uygur, Saikat Chakrabarti, and Zack Exley with the goal of challenging establishment Democrats who have failed to address the urgent needs of working-class Americans.
The Justice Democrats platform is based on four key pillars: Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, tuition-free public college and trade school, and ending mass incarceration. These policies are designed to address some of the most pressing issues facing our country today, including healthcare access, climate change, education affordability, and criminal justice reform.
One of the unique aspects of Justice Democrats is its commitment to grassroots organizing. The organization relies on small-dollar donations from individual supporters rather than corporate PACs or wealthy donors.
