Junior Achievement: Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders
Junior Achievement (JA) is a non-profit organization that provides volunteer-delivered programs to students from kindergarten to 12th grade. Another popular program is JA Finance Park®, which teaches personal finance skills such as budgeting, saving, investing, credit management, and more. Students work through a series of interactive activities that simulate real-life financial scenarios.
JA also offers programs focused on entrepreneurship such as JA Launch Lesson®, which teaches high school students how to start their own businesses; JA Company Program®, which allows high school students to create their own companies; and JA Be Entrepreneurial®, which helps middle schoolers develop entrepreneurial skills.
In addition to its K-12th grade programs, Junior Achievement also offers college-level courses through its partnership with Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business Administration. These courses cover topics such as leadership development, ethics in business management practices,and strategic planning.
