Good. But as someone that has worked directly with jk I can say that they had trouble getting the vocals to the top of the mix and the power ally was vary bad.

worked with Bruce who helped me find the right system for a weird sound installation that I wanted to build. he was really enthusiastic about ensuring that I had the right setup to provide the experience I wanted to create for my guests. as an amateur, I was totally lost, but Bruce's insight and encouragement kept me from bailing on the project all together, which turned out to be a very great thing for me. will definitely work with these guys again.

Paul K is freakin amazing. There's no obstacle he can't overcome no matter how alternative the venue is. If you get a chance to work with JK Sound your gig will go off spectacularly.

I ve been using JK for over 20 yrs. I can say honestly that they come on site and fix whatever sound issues I have promptly and expeditiously. They are my go to for my venue. I have yet to find another company who take pride in their work as much as the guys at JK.

I have worked for this company, and everyone is friendly. HOWEVER, they have issues with paying their employees. I properly submitted an invoice, had it confirmed, and it should have been paid out by the end of the following week. It has been over SIX weeks, and I have contacted them a multitude of times to no response. Apparently this is a VERY frequent problem for them, so if you want to inspire them to get their act together, DO NOT use their services. UPDATE: It has been nearly TWO months, and I have recently received my check. I then deposit it, and they reverse it.

How about these guys showing up with a replacement part on short notice. . . for a speaker that they _knew wasn't theirs_ (but I thought was).

My wife and I own The Grove restaurants in SF. JK performed the in-depth research, made informed and cost-effective audio recommendations, and installed/calibrated the systems for the Yerba Buena and Hayes locations. They are easy to work with, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Additionally, JK does what few others do - after the money has been spent, but over the years there are occasional inevitable issues (for commercial systems playing 15 hours a day, 365 days a year), they are immediate responders for service calls, and do whatever it takes. JK is an independent SF business, and they get it, and they care.

Seriously? This is the most unprofessional crew I have ever seen.

Maybe they do DJ stuff. But, I'd never hire them again for a company event.

JK Sound provides the sound equipment for our non-profit run, week long, outdoor, 700+ person event with two stages. It can't be easy for them- the weather is hot, there are a lot of moving parts and our needs are always changing but thankfully they are extremely reliable and always wonderful to work with. Additionally, they're well organized, have smart and fun engineers (like Paul K!) and their equipment is really well maintained. We love working with them.

I've been freelancing for J K Sound for a decade and have the most ultimate respect for the company.They have taught and showed me many good aspects of the sound production industry.I Have never had a problem with payroll and and in fact have been paid in advance many times.They are very much family oriented and yet very professional at the same time. They are top notch with clients as well as very teaching and leading young folks and students willing to learn. Hopefully this will open many doors for future endeavors.
