JDM Title LLC

Absolutely the WORST title company. The agent we are working with avoided my lender phone calls and realtor phone calls for an entire week. We had to track her down through the automated phone number they had listed and she just happened to pick up. She said that she was busy with end of month paperwork. As a professional myself, you never put your problems on your customer!! We close on a Tuesday (the Monday prior is a holiday) - the Friday before she changes the time and doesn t tell us what the new time is.....because she took off for vacation!!! Oh, and she won t be there, someone else will be. Ugh, she needs to be fired. This company is unprofessional, non-responsive, slow, and incompetent. Even my realtor was shocked at the behavior. DON T USE THEM!!!!

JDM is my "go-to" place for title searches and settlements. As a Northern Virginia Realtor, I rely on their staff to keep me and my clients informed throughout the process. Communication is key to a smooth transaction and JDM does an excellent job of it, by working in unison with lenders and agents. I also appreciate their closing reps, for answering my clients' questions and easing any anxiety, before they sign on the dotted line!

I closed on two transactions at JDM. They are awesome. They sent someone to our house free of charge and she collected the signatures. It was a huge help as we have 2 kids and and full time jobs and was not easy to go to their office for settlement. They were in constant contact with lender and myself and everything went smoothly. I highly recommended using them.

We recently had the opportunity to purchase a home and used JDM Title. We were so pleased with the service. They made the purchase so smooth. They were professional, yet very friendly, we felt like part of the family. We would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I always hesitate to leave bad reviews for businesses, however, this time I have no choice but informing others to save them out of trouble.

We purchased our house a year ago. The house had some inspection issues and the seller agreed and signed an addendum to compensate the renovation cost via a check. The seller was supposed to draw the check on the closing day and leave it with the title company. Last summer, we asked for the check but it turned out to be that the check is lost in the title company!? We later found out the check is not mentioned in the HUD 1 document either.

We and the seller closed the sale separately with different officers at the title company. We were told that the mentioned check was collected from the seller. Now we re are looking for the check. Turned out to be lost or even not being collected. No one in the title company takes responsibility and title company instructed us to sue the seller by our own cost!!!!!

After consulting with couple of real estate attorneys, all fingers are pointed at the title company, which not only provided a poor service but also they failed to take responsibility for their own fault.

Do yourself a favor and avoid headache by staying away from JDM title company.
