I feel and personally experienced that McHugh Construction doesn't seem to care about anything but themselves and this type of attitude may complicate or hurt your image as a company if you use their services. Examples: During a construction project near our building they have not provided the correct signage for road blockages, nor individuals with proper traffic techniques to promote safety nor have they facilitated positive resolve for communicated problems. Ignorance seems to be their response. Site management refuses to speak or ignores requests for onsite manager information when obvious issues are present. They use subcontracted companies and employees that harass and even attempt violence when individuals proceed to document said issues with photos and video cameras. I have included many pictures that show disregard for site soil management, and traffic safety requirements. Roads are blocked without proper signage prior to the blockages. Streets become covered with dirt and rocks that become a liability for pedestrians and vehicles on surrounding properties. Construction workers walk down streets in the road and do not use the open sidewalk on the other side. Just because they have a time sensitive job-site I feel they act as if they can do anything and safety does not seem important. McHugh will post signs that require certain safety restrictions and then act like everything is OK, yet adherence to said signage is not followed. I have seen vehicles and actions contrary to posted signs on a routine basis. McHugh employees or sub contractors ignore littering laws and they do not seem to have any concern or operations for procedures that would curtail these recognized and communicated issues. I have attempted to cordially communicate and request resolve without positive results. Thus I write this review and hope other developers or customers do not let this type of experience negatively impact their image or project. If you want to be a good neighbor during and after construction, best to steer away from McHugh. Many residents and surrounding entities feel the same way as I have had conversations with them. Please use another company as you will be avoiding these issues.
