Jade Chinese School

I am very much enjoying learning Chinese with Julia Tai who is a knowledgeable, experienced and patient teacher. There are 2 things I particularly like about her teaching. First, despite following a curriculum that is well structured and organized, she also improvises many details depending on the one-to-one interaction during lessons. Second, if what I say or write is incorrect or needs improvement, she carefully considers several alternatives as she tries to come up with better ways to express my thoughts. That allows me to learn various possibilities instead of a single answer. I believe that both of those ways of teaching will prepare me better for real-life conversational situations. I recommend her highly to anyone who is serious about learning Chinese.
