Ithaka Land Trust: Providing Transitional Housing for the Most Vulnerable in Colorado Springs

Ithaka Land Trust is a non-profit organization that provides transitional housing for some of the most vulnerable residents in Colorado Springs. Since 1981, Ithaka has been supporting low-income residents across its properties, helping them on their journey from homelessness towards stability and growth.

At Ithaka, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home. We understand that homelessness can happen to anyone and that it often stems from a variety of complex issues such as poverty, mental illness, addiction or domestic violence. That's why we offer more than just housing - we provide support services to help our residents overcome these challenges and rebuild their lives.

Our properties are located throughout Colorado Springs and offer a range of housing options including apartments, shared houses and single-room occupancy units. Each property is staffed with trained professionals who work closely with our residents to develop individualized plans for success.

We currently serve about 100 residents across our properties who come from diverse backgrounds but share one thing in common - they need help getting back on their feet. Our goal is to provide them with the tools they need to achieve self-sufficiency so they can move on to permanent housing.

At Ithaka Land Trust, we believe in community-based solutions to homelessness. We work closely with local organizations, government agencies and volunteers to create a network of support for our residents. Our partnerships allow us to offer additional services such as job training programs, mental health counseling or substance abuse treatment.

We also rely heavily on donations from individuals and businesses within the community who share our vision of ending homelessness in Colorado Springs. Your support allows us to continue providing safe and affordable housing along with vital support services that make all the difference in someone's life.

In conclusion, Ithaka Land Trust is committed to providing transitional housing for some of the most vulnerable members of our community. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to rebuild their lives and we are dedicated to helping them achieve that goal. With your support, we can continue making a difference in the lives of our neighbors and work towards ending homelessness in Colorado Springs.
