We had an amazing time in boston, the place was nice and close to everything, definitely coming back next year

It is very clean and relax place to stay in downtown Boston . It is close to many restaurants . Also , wholefood is located in the same building. The stuff of leasing office are so friendly .

Enjoyed my time living here. I was fortunately apart of the first year at the building and met some great people as well as had alot of fun. This review would be from two years ago technically but i enjoyed my time then. Alittle pricy but you get what you pay for and your in the center of boston. Only complaint was they seemed to be running a AirBnB type housing skeem which they wouldn't tell the residence about which kinda annoyed me cause there were always people coming and going didnt like the feeling of living in a hotel

Guys. What is with the black kitchen cabinets?! Makes the apartments look so dark. Oh and also...the bathrooms have white tile that look permanently dirty. The model didn t even look clean.

Bonus: better finishes in the other apartments will cost you an additional $500/month. All the apartments with this gross finish a cheap and a place you d actually want to live in will cost you much more.

The owner replied below that they offered me different finish options...but completely failed to clarify that units in the other buildings are $500/month more expensive and tried to claim it s simply for a view. I m sorry...unacceptable. Super rip off. Mind you, closets have exposed pipes. Closet sliding doors have exposed (and dirty) wheels...you can get MUCH more for your money than Ink Block and am happy to recommend other buildings in the area. We went with a close by community that was more up to our standards.

I lived here for two years. When I move out, the apartment made up some random excuses and withheld the security deposit. The leasing team from two years ago was very nice but the current one was not professional.

I ve lived at Ink Block since the Fall of 2015 and love it! Walking distance to Whole Foods, Fuji Sushi, Lion s Tail, Bar Mezanna Italian Restaurant, Chinatown, and all the shops and restaurants in the South End. I love the inkblock events put together by Doorbell Communities.(@joindoorbell) my all time favorite events were the Salsa Dancing lessons and the Pasta Making class. The guys at Doorbell Communitues are always smiling, friendly, and interested in residents input on future events. Living here, you literally don t need to leave the block to enjoy modern living.

I have lived here for a year and a half and am nothing but satisfied. A true luxury apartment feel from the units to the common areas. Having such convenient access to a high quality grocery store, restaurants, and various exercise studios is great. Ink Block only brings businesses to the complex if the residents will benefit as the residents are their primary concern. The staff at Ink Block are amazing and very attentive. The leasing office really takes the time and care to get to know and remember their residents and will go above and beyond to rectify any complaint or concern. I can tell they genuinely care and want to provide their residents with a great experience.

Such a great apartment building with an unbeatable location. Also @joindoorbell host great events to bring the community together. One of my favorites was curious creatures. Where else can you hold a chinchilla and an alligator at the same time.

Extremely happy with my experience at Ink Block, wish I could have stayed there longer. It's a beautiful place and the staff is excellent. The new property manager, Michael Soto-Mendigorin, is outstanding. Great guy, great building.

Never had a better experience in any buildings I ve lived in Boston for the past 11 years!

Ink Block is great, staff keeps everything clean and running fantastic.

Had a maintenance request. Steve kept me informed of the time he would show up. He was very pleasant and quickly identified the issue. I m confident if I have other maintenance requests in the future he will be quick to help.

The process of finishing paperwork was easy and friendly thanks to the amazing management team. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful to me. I feel very welcomed and I look forward to creating memories in this place.

My wife and I have lived here for the past year, and we will absolutely miss Ink Block so much when we leave. The location is incredible. Not having to even go outside to get groceries from Whole Foods (esp. during the dead of winter) was game changing. On top of that, being so close to all that Chinatown/Downtown has to offer as well as the SoWa outdoor market, we always felt like there was something to do within minutes of leaving the apartment. The location is also prime for anyone working/studying at Tufts or BUMC.

However, one of the biggest plus points of Ink Block was the hospitality and professionalism of the leasing office and concierge. Rebekah in leasing did an amazing job working with us, and Deshawn at the concierge desk became one of our best friends in the building. Having a concierge present 24 hours was also so nice in terms of security and safety. Any issues we had were promptly solved by the building staff.

We really can't say enough nice things about living here.

This complex is so wonderful! I moved across the country and had to pick it blind, but toured tons of buildings. Devin and Rebekah were great about videos, pictures and even walking me around the entire complex on a call/video. It's in a great location that is walking distance to a ton of places and can't complain Whole Foods is steps away. Gym has Peloton equipment, pool is nice, grounds are kept up, and with COVID - I see the cleaning folks every day spraying/wiping things down. I also appreciate the Concierge and maintenance, who have gone out of their way to make sure I have everything I need. I've never experienced that before at other buildings. Built in desks are clutch and I was shocked by how quiet everything is as I can never hear my neighbors. I feel like I really lucked out here.

Could not be happier at Ink Block. The amenities are awesome - super dog friendly, lots of community activities, concierge services, & underground access to Whole Foods.

The maintenance team is truly fantastic. Very responsive and lovely to work with!

We had a maintenance request, and Steve showed up within 1-2 hours of us requesting service. He was very friendly and personable. Most importantly he quickly identified the issue and solved it. Great experience overall!

I am one of the tenants here and would like to say they have one of the fastest services here. Any problem's that I have with the place, they'll come fix it the day after. Steve, a good guy part of the maintenance team, always does a quick and great job. Love this place!

After living here for two years. I can say that i couldn t have chosen a better building & location. Off-course it s pricey but it s worth it. The leasing team, concierge, and maintenance team are all wonderful people.

I've lived in a few managed buildings, and this is an an outstanding, excellently run building. Moving in Michael, Nadia, and Dashawn provided us with tons of help along the way, making our lease as easy as possible. Our doorman, Tom helped coordinate our move with the elevators, even as we changed our time-frame multiple times. Our first maintenance request was completed the next morning, by Steve quickly, and efficiently.

We love Steve and the rest of the Ink Block team. The building is kept up spectacularly and if any maintenance requests are submitted, they are addressed quickly and skillfully.

Steve is amazing! He s always kind and quick when he comes to fix things in the apartment.

Star is for the management, not the property its self. Mostly the leasing and front desk. My actual building attendant is very kind but unfortunately when it comes to requesting anything, the answe is always no. Moreover they genuinely enjoy turning you down.

Very accommodating to all needs! Whenever something needs to be taken care of it s done within 24 hours.

One minus is the pool, they shut it down very early in the season with like 3 days notice... and the patio access ends at 10pm. :(

Lived here for over 4 years since the building complex opened 2015.

Prices are reasonable given the location, building type, and what is offered. The parking garage is the best in terms of price, location, space, and access. I toured all of the competing buildings nearby continuously (Kensington, Archstone, One Greenway, AVA, Troy, Girard, 345 Harrison) and would choose InkBlock again if I had to come back to Boston to live. Thumbs up!
