DO NOT USE THIS SPACE FOR EVENTS. This is not for people of color! I was at an event today, a friend of mine went over to the display area to look at a book, a security guard came over this us to not pick up the boom AS TWO WHITE WOMAN WAS PUTTING THE BOOK DOWN! To even put it more in context, the women was standing there before us. It was the worst event experience I ever had! How are we in 2019 still experiencing this! To Industrial Color, the short olde security guard The was station by the DJ is a complete racist! I think if you make roles they should be for everyone, not for selective few. It s sad The is Chronicle First event and this is what I had to experience! Disgusting disgusting. I m sure you guys have video, I m writing this at 8:02 pm. This had to happen between 7:20 and 8pm
