Imperfectus distributes seasonal fruits and vegetables that do not meet the cosmetic requirements of big supermarkets and retailers. Farmers have to throw away tones of food because of these requirements, which may be related to size, color or shape, but never to the quality of food. Imperfectus aims to help these farmers by giving this food an opportunity, while reducing food wast, by delivering it to customers at a reduced price vs. retail prices.
