Excellent bathhouse, well located and equipped with every comfort. The dishes served at the restaurant are tasty. Beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, with deck chairs and windows that shelter from the winds of any direction.

Both indoor and outdoor spaces are large by the sea. It's clean, the reception of the staff is good, great food, having booked in time I ate gluten free fry

After a nice walk along the Ostia coast on a splendid Sunday in March, my Australian friend and I decided to stop and eat something before returning to Rome. Finding ourselves near the Venice beach, we came in to ask for a table. After a first hesitation about the availability, the young and kind lady of the restaurant finds us almost immediately a table, anticipating us however that there will be to wait about 10 minutes before being able to order given the amount of work.
So we approach the table. I immediately notice that the 4 chairs covered in white fabric on our table are all dirty. Quite a lot of. We sit down and after a few minutes a waitress brings us the bread basket. Around 40 minutes will pass before the same waitress returns to take the order. Meanwhile, we witness the (motivated) nervousness of other customers sitting at a table next to ours. Dishes brought back because cold, second courses arrived before the first and never together. In short, a disaster to the point that from the same table one of the customers, tired of the repeated inefficiencies, loudly asks for the bill and leaves.
Finally the maid arrives from us and we order from the menu.
A few minutes later we see her arriving at a brisk pace with us with two covered dishes and tells us: "they have just come out 2 spaghetti with clams, do you want them?" I remain appalled by the strange request and remind you that we have just ordered a la carte far from it. She replies "I say it for you, so you don't have to wait". Thing???? But do you think it's normal? Those two plates of spaghetti were just those destined for our table neighbors who had lost their impatience and rather than throwing them away, they were proposing them to us! Absolutely unprofessional.
After about another twenty minutes the ordered dishes arrive. They are covered with metal lids.
The waitress discovers the pasta dish that seems to have traveled for hours.
Fortunately, squid frying is normal. Good.
The pasta dish, imperial fettuccine, is presented in an obscene and confusing way. The overall taste is acceptable. But not unforgettable.
To conclude, I don't think I will come back to eat at the Ristorante Il Venezia, especially for the lack of care of the table, service and waiting times. Prices, based on what I found, are not appropriate.

We loved this place. best Italian seafood we had in Rome. we had a table on the patio with a million dollar view and had a feast there for a family of 5. My son had a lobster pasta (fantastic), My wife had the raw seafood sample platter and that was amazing. I had the house seafood pasta, and that was reallly good. the waiter was great and reminds me of old fashion service which they look after you. Price was reasonable, 5 people with Prosecco, wine, 2 courses meal for 125 Euros. Loved it.

Beautiful location but exorbitant prices, 2 coffees and an orange juice, at the table, 9 euros, I can understand the period but it seemed an exaggeration. In other places, even better ones, I paid 5.

We found a nice restaurant- overlooking the sea and protected from the wind. The staff does a good job getting you in. Once you are seated (we were six), we got one copy of the menu on the desk (the restaurant was almost empty). The food was average but expensive given that it is off-season. The service was good.

For the restaurant it is worth it. The view is beautiful. Then the meal by the sea always has its charm.

Pretty nice beach in Ostia. After the season, we paid 10 euros per person and we could use two deckchairs and an umbrella. During the season, prices are high. The restaurant with a beautiful view of the sea offers only fish dishes but we managed to order spaghetti, at least we were not hungry :) Do not go with dogs. A lot of people. Showers, toilets, service without reservations.

Local well located but like all those close to the beach. Possibility to eat outdoors. Portions a bit 'expensive and not too abundant. Good quality food. At the end of the meal the waiter brought the bill without me asking. An unkind gesture, almost to tell me that we had to leave. Maybe it was a coincidence but I do not think about going back. I am very attentive to these things and then I was with my wife who noticed it ....

Wonderful morning, breakfast outdoors with the sun warming us, sitting on the deckchair looking at the sea and above all not too crowded. To be repeated ... hopefully ... as soon as possible once the health emergency is over

Spacious, very elegant, qualified staff, extreme kindness, excellent products, located on the seafront height stop Cristoforo Colombo Station. For today I have used the Bar sector.
I expect to return to be able to enjoy seaside hospitality.

Elegant, refined and welcoming with a truly fantastic sea view. A pleasant atmosphere to which must be added the kindness of the owners who take care of the guests' comfort in detail. An experience to recommend certainly!

I put a star only x the position of the restaurant with an extraordinary sea view .. ..x regarding the service, I am not satisfied for nothing ... they are slow and often and willingly snubbed by the staff ... and worse finally the organization for a couple of years has become below mediocrity ... x regarding the owners, I found a lack of professionalism and a rudeness more unique than rare ... days ago they made me pay a first course of fish 18.00 also after having pointed out that they were found within the range full of clams full of sand and therefore inedible .. ... their answer after all this was: CAN YOU CAPTAIN !!!! Not a word apology or whatever !! What is certain is that I will not recommend this establishment to anyone, let alone the restaurant ... ANZI ...... !!!!

Beautiful bathhouse, I have been going there for several years because one of my favorites, very well cared for by Ruggero and family, lends itself to a more selective clientele, the sunbed and umbrella costs are more or less in Lina with other establishments, but higher costs means avoid that confusing and unpleasant mass of Saturday and Sunday.
The swimming pool is also interesting and pleasant and is suitable for photographs and parties and ceremonies

Beautiful location, above average and facing the sea, but to get us back was the treatment. Even just for an aperitif, the staff, especially Brando, has managed to manage with professionalism and sympathy even the most specific requests (as for food intolerances). Having more time, we would have stopped even for dinner, which feeling the neighboring guests deserved ...

Beautiful establishment, very nice and welcoming. Super swimming pool to swim even when the sea is rough. Ideal choice to enjoy the sea just a few minutes from Rome. Super recommended !!!

Meals more elaborate, maintained and delicious I have ever tasted

Now after years of attending it I can say that for me it is excellent. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend 1 day at the beach.

Great. Kind and courteous. Between a course of fish and another of particular tastings, you enjoy a view of the sea from a thousand and one nights.

Bad experience. We rented 2 Transat and a parasol for 36 euros. After half an hour, the staff came to close the umbrella on the grounds of too much wind ... half an hour later, it was great sun and very little wind. They never wanted to re-open the umbrella. We left soon after not to be completely burnt ... Staff unfriendly and haughty, making absolutely no effort to speak anything other than Italian. I strongly advise against

The location is beautiful but you can't pay for a 5 orange juice

The beach is non existent. No work is done to bring sand back unlike the adjacent factories. The bar is very expensive (1 Peroni 5 ....). Coffee has laxative qualities and is regularly burnt. The only quality is the swimming pool.

A nice place where it's worth going back to. It is a beautiful establishment but also a restaurant where you can eat well with a sea view. Always fresh dishes and abundant first courses, a rarity.

Because I don't find traffic, like on the Aurelia (last Sunday 1 hour to go from Malagrotta to Torrimpietra) ... !!! At the Venezia the bathrooms are always clean and the staff is very friendly.

For years a customer I have been going there often, today I order the coffees and the tart and take them to take them out, as I always have ... the barista stops me and says I had to pay the supplement, never happened, but okay I say then I pay, he now makes me the coffees I made them and mumbles some other incomprehensible thing ... 2 girls behind me witnessed the scene and wanting to drink the coffee outdoors they ask to pay the supplement and the barista tells her you have asked you can go .. without words, without education.

The establishment has all the comforts and is fully equipped. The only drawback is the fact that part of the cabins stands on stilts that rise on the sea precluding the possibility of taking a walk by the sea

Well organized bathing establishment and courteous staff.The beach unfortunately in that stretch is not particularly beautiful: stony shore, and immediately deep sea.The establishment is equipped with a beautiful and well-kept swimming pool, lockers and changing rooms, as well as excellent hot showers.
For lunch we used the self service, which then turned out to be a table service, the spaghetti with clams surprised us particularly: tasty, rich and abundant. Quality / price ratio adequate.

I went there for years, comfortable in front of the metro exit, I don't go any more they are all rude, starting with the lady at the bar counter and ending up with the cleaning lady, the blond lifeguard who is on the sunbeds is nice but a little distracted, the price of 10 euros does not include the swimming pool.

Unfortunately we found ourselves in the middle of celebrations (presumably baptisms) which meant that our table was surrounded by people who kept getting up (for the covid is not the best) and noisy to the point of not hearing our voice.
We asked to move inside and were promptly accommodated. Unfortunately, the service was very long over 2 hours and with various inconveniences (lost seconds order). The staff tried to make up for the mistake by bringing us an extra plate.
In conclusion, the evaluation on the quality of the food and the quality / price ratio is good but the evaluation as a whole is largely insufficient

Venice occupies an important place in my childhood memories. We began to frequent him in the early 60s, my father regularly took a season ticket, I went there with my mother or with the English young lady, and Dad joined us on Saturday afternoons when he got away from work at the Ministry.

At the jukebox in Venice I listened to all the great hits of the Beatles just released, I fell in love with my first little girl, I built innumerable castles of sand and every year I came away with a tan that looked like a little African.

I have not been here for years, not least because I've been living in Switzerland for twelve years; but if I go to Rome in the summer, I want to go back - of course it will be completely changed, but I'm sure I'll find all my memories back then. And maybe I'll add the two stars that are missing, to a review made only in the past.

One of these memories certainly will not be there anymore: the lifeguard Hamlet, who was old even then.

Excellent three-zone pool: swimming, medium depth and shallow depth for children. Clean water and lots of deckchairs available.
For the beach cabins and well equipped with hot shower, veranda with tables and chairs, umbrella and sun loungers on the beach in front of the cabin.
A little pricey maybe, but the selection at the entrance for the price allows you to stay calm.
At the Self Service you do not eat badly (I recommend spaghetti with clams) and you are very fresh during the hottest hours

Food is not bad. However, I ordered a hamburger with fries and only a slice of meat without bread salad or fries.

We organized a corporate event for 250 people by the pool with buffet and DJ.
The location is wonderful and Claudia the owner has taken care of the decorations in detail.
The buffet was really good and rich.
The staff were polite and organized.
A perfect evening, which everyone was delighted with.
Highly recommended.
