In Hypno-Dude, 17-year-old Kirk Taylor, a skeptical American student at the International Diplomatic Corps High School in Kathmandu, unexpectedly comes up with an uncommon talent: the ability to hypnotize people.
Not knowing about the forces conspiring for a sinister global agenda, Kirk ends up fighting against Fernando Manuro — an evil genius billionaire hypnotist who deregulates the world by influencing politicians and the masses through mind control.
While fighting against this invisible foe, Kirk has to figure his way through the friendship puzzle, trust, cultural differences, moral dilemmas, and even his personal growth, which happens to be under extraordinary pressure, at the same time.
Hypno-Dude is a hybrid of action, suspense, and brilliant thematic ideas. The book caters to the adolescent and adult readership and is a great combination of the elements mentioned above.
