As a retired physician, I have high expectations of any medical facility. Over the past 2 years I have been very impressed with the quality of care provided at Hudson Physicians. All of my contacts have been personable and capable. The on line communication, and bill pay is something even an older person can navigate with ease. I love the expansion of walk in. I would recommend this group highly.
The challenge with this group is to get a nurse/PA/doctor who is older. I have found that the younger nurses/PA/doctors talk too fast, and have little empathy. While tests might be ordered appropriately, there is no direct contact with professional on results (explanations of tests) - just a letter in the mail.
Our family has been going here for 20 years. It is really a terrific place and our primary care physician, Dr. Dahl, is the best doc I've ever had. Our experiences have always been great, they take time to listen to you! Not the 15 minutes in and out deal here.
The doctors, nurses, and staff at Hudson Physicians are always friendly, helpful, and caring.
I d like to second the other reviews: I ve had great experiences with the medical staff. Patient assistance is bad, no privacy, rude, and they treat you as if you re inconveniencing them even to schedule an appointment. I ve worked as a patient assistant at a health clinic before and would have been fired in seconds for things they do every time I have to talk to them.
Some of the physicians are OK. But the administrative decisions made here are idiotic. My family has been waiting for COVID tests for one of our kids for almost a week now. Our lives are on hold because some administrator in their infinite wisdom decided to not offer on site testing. We were told results would take three days. It s been 5 (thanks to a weekend). We will be taking our kids to a drive thru testing center in Minnesota today and have been promised results in 24 hours.
Bottom line it is very difficult to manage care without a definitive test result. Get it together or we will be seeking care elsewhere.
Never been seen here before and I needed a covid test. They were more than willing to help me with becoming a new patient and getting my test. Will definitely be transferring my care to here. Thank you so much for your help!
These doctors have these new age ideas that they have to change all of your medications around and replace any controlled substances with much more dangerous drugs that are not considered controlled substances. No matter how long you have been prescribed something. And regardless of how perfectly the tried and true combination that you are currently taking works. When I told one of their doctors about a personal safety concern that I wanted testing for, the doctor flat out said to me, come on, that's not happening. And would not order testing regarding my concern. As a result, I am having to pay out of pocket for a private lab to do the requested testing. Also, they interact with your Health Partners electronic medical records regardless of whether or not you give them permission. They are supposed to be a separate entity. If your looking for a new doctor go elsewhere. These doctors do not care about your needs, your well-being, or your time. I have waited over an hour in a patient room for a doctor.
I would like to say that things are going great between my primary care physician and staff. I have TBI and its hard sometimes for me to articulate myself or get my point across and the nurses, appointment scheduler's, doctors and other staff have treated me with dignity and respect. I really respond better to that and I appreciate the privledge of being able to come to this fine facility. The doctors are talented, and the staff are trained well. I want everyone to know things were a bit rocky at first, but sometimes people have to get to know each other before jumping to conclusions. I just wanted to say that so if someone out there feels no-one cares the staff here do. This is my testament of just that. We all need to just work together and be patient. Thanks again Hudson Physicians.
I am changing my previous review. Last year I had a bad experience in urgent care.
However, yesterday I had an amazing experience with Dr. Linklater. She was incredibly kind, and she took the time to explain everything to me. She really listened to me and I felt she cared. I am thankful I was scheduled with her, and am relieved to have her help.
