HSI Rentals

HSI is a great place to rent from. They really give you the feeling that you are renting from a family, rather than some big business. They very friendly and easy to get a hold of. Their units are close to campus, in great condition, and they fix any issues in a timely manner. They have very competitive rents and are all around great people. Couldn't recommend them enough.

I have rented through HSI for the past few years and have nothing but good things to say about them. They care about building good relationships with their tenants, ensure the safety of your rental and always respond quickly with any questions or concerns. I would recommend renting through HSI rentals to any incoming students, families or anyone in general that is looking for a place to live. You will not be disappointed! :)

HSI is a great company to rent from! They are very responsive and friendly. For a company who manages so many houses in Whitewater, to deliver such quality service is no easy feat. I d definitely recommend going through them if you re ever in need of a college rental.

HSI is by far the BEST company to rent through in Whitewater!!! They are very understanding, responds almost immediately and cares about you! Very rare you find a rental company that treats you the way you deserve while being a college student. Absolutely loved my lofted apartment on N Second St!

HSI is an excellent rental company. I lived in Whitewater for about 5 years and used them for 4 of those years. They are very responsive to any issues you present. They are also almost always in the Whitewater area and able to handle any issues within 24 hours. Overall they were great to rent from and great people. Highly recommend

I rented from HSI from my last year in Whitewater. The family seemed super nice at first & I figured I was in great hands. However, as the year went on, it became very clear that the family s personal life takes the priority over the business. While this may not sound all bad, Bob specifically will tell you himself how unhappy he is if you call him at a bad time aka anytime during non-business hours. While I wish his family the best of health, he goes out of his way to make renters feels guilty if they have caused him any sort of inconvenience.

In terms of the house I rented (with others) it was a typical college house in decent shape. My roommates and I spent many hours cleaning the house spotless before we moved out to ensure no deductions on our security deposit. As most landlords do, a cleaning crew was brought in just to make sure everything was in good shape for the next renters. Other rentals in town will cover this cost, however Bob brought in a routine company knowing that the majority of the cost would be taken out of our security deposits. There was seemingly nothing we had done wrong, it just is simply not their problem to pay for the standard upkeep of their own homes.

In my opinion Bob does not have the patience, the energy, or even the humbleness to be running a business such as this.

I ve been with HSI for 3 years and would recommend it to anyone. Glad I made the blind choice to go with HSI for my housing needs because I felt like I was part of such a positive and caring community. Bob, Jill , and Ben are a wonderful team and truly care about their tenants. If I were to go back to college again...I would make the same decision I made 3 years ago.

I rented an apartment through HSI during the 2019-2020 school year. Both Bob and Ben were very professional and responsive to keeping the unit in excellent shape. We had an issue where our toilet would constantly run and they came the next morning after all other repairs failed with a brand new toilet that was professionally installed. I highly recommend others to check out HSI s units. When compared to other landlords for students in Whitewater, Ben and Bob have consistently proven that their service is the best you can get!

HSI is a great place to rent from. I originally rented from the larger company in the area of Whitewater, and nothing compares to how HSI treats us now. Bob, the owner, always responds rapidly to concerns, and will have someone there to fix anything either day of, or next day, no matter the situation. The online portal also creates an easy access place for voicing any concerns about your residence, and it makes online rent payments a breeze. Obviously, no company is perfect, but I HIGHLY suggest HSI over all other landlords in Whitewater, WI. :)

HSI are reasonable, caring, nice, and understanding people. They will not rip you off, and they are willing to listen and work together so everyone is happy. Haven't met nicer landlords anywhere else!
