At Housing Pathways, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and secure place to call home. We understand that housing is not just about providing shelter but also about creating a sense of belonging, stability, and security. That's why we work closely with communities to identify their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that address those needs.
Our approach is centered around community engagement. We believe in working collaboratively with local residents, community groups, businesses, and other stakeholders to create sustainable solutions that benefit everyone involved. By involving the community in our work, we ensure that our services are relevant, effective, and responsive to local needs.
One of our core areas of focus is homelessness prevention. We understand the devastating impact homelessness can have on individuals' lives as well as on communities as a whole. That's why we offer a range of services aimed at preventing homelessness before it occurs. These include advice on housing options; support with accessing benefits; help with managing debts; assistance with finding employment or training opportunities; advocacy for those facing eviction or rent arrears; and much more.
We also provide accommodation for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless through our supported housing schemes. Our supported housing offers safe and secure accommodation alongside tailored support packages designed to help residents overcome any barriers they may be facing towards independent living.
In addition to our work around homelessness prevention and supported housing provision, Housing Pathways also delivers a range of other services aimed at improving people's lives across London & South East England:
- Community development: We work alongside local residents & groups in deprived areas across London & South East England delivering projects that help to build stronger, more resilient communities. Our community development work includes initiatives such as community gardening projects, youth clubs, and adult education classes.
- Health & wellbeing: We recognize that good health is essential for people to thrive. That's why we offer a range of services aimed at improving people's physical and mental health. These include exercise classes, healthy eating workshops, mental health support groups, and much more.
- Employment & training: We believe that everyone should have access to meaningful employment or training opportunities. That's why we offer a range of services aimed at helping people develop the skills they need to succeed in the workplace. These include CV writing workshops, interview skills training, apprenticeships schemes and much more.
