We have just spent an extraordinary weekend at Chalet Morel.
The site in full nature is fabulous as well as the chalet whose decor without any false note with cocooning atmosphere of a wood-fired chalet is at the top.But above all, well done and thank you to Julia, the owner of the place, whose hospitality, professionalism and attention to you. wears discreetly. is fabulous. The staff is also on top and a ++ mention to shimi for his smile and his good humor
I sincerely recommend and we will come back for sure !!

Nice place. The quality of the food is good, too bad the bad organization. The owner, room manager or whoever it is claims to direct everyone, employees and customers, creating more confusion than help. The staff is definitely more friendly than the "director" who can't even smile at you when he shows you the way out.

Atrocious prices.

20 euros minimum price for a plate of low quality cured meats or a banal hamburger. Duplicate yourself for a first course, not to mention the meat.

Average quality food nothing more.

Decent place as located like all chalets in sunny areas.

Good service, because waiters are available even if sodomized by an unhelpful and insistent owner.

I'm back after 3 years, I had a wonderful memory!

Deeply disappointed, of the neighbors at the table if I know or gone given the prices, I stayed but I certainly didn't believe that over these prices they charged a loaf of bread and I could not ask kindly how I did deckchair.

I'm sorry for the staff, competent, scared and kind cmq.

Inability to pay with pos, I worked in catering for years as a young man and must be displayed on a sign outside if out of use, especially in a Refuge!

I don't leave negative reviews but I know when to take advantage of the. Little good CH and the solcial system has given us:
Unbiased reviews!
Greetings to the owner curl. You just fuck French customers, people for the most part polite and all of them like him despite being from Southern Italy.
Generally helpful and hospitable people except him!

Prix absurdes.

Nourriture moyenne.

It takes the pos.

Dear chalet ..
If a customer enters to have a coffee during a morning on skis with the intention, perhaps, to have lunch at a later time, and pays 1 euro 50 for a smooth coffee or without chocolate, a glass of mineral or biscuit, he understands that the prices are a little higher than average, and change your mind about where to stop later. We are in Limone Piemonte not in Zermatt!
Beautiful structure, tastefully furnished and well situated in the landscape, of fairly recent construction, offers a good point of view on the mountains and on the slopes but the stairs that lead to the services placed on the lower floor built with too smooth material, are dangerous to go with ski boots, especially when going down. I would suggest the application of non-slip adhesives and, at least this problem would be solved. For the prices you see a little you.

So, we arrived thinking we could eat a simple sandwich (as in any other Limone Piemonte chalet)
The choice to make a quick lunch was little, a simple focaccia ham and foramggio for 7 !!!!
At least pretty good, a beautiful place that if it was managed better it would tempt everyone and everything

In addition to being very expensive and with little choice (25/30 euros minimum for a meager dish and still water for 5 euros), I didn't feel at all at ease, the manager treats you badly if you don't spend at least 50 euros each (a eat to ski mind you!) and the waiters are all scared ... out of curiosity I went to read here and on TripAdvisor and the reviews there are very bad and I must say that I find myself there. Unfriendliness and classism on the part of the manager. The latter is justified by replying that "The chalet has changed users and I am sure you will find a more suitable restaurant" and therefore snubs normal people, wanting only people of a certain level. Well, I don't think this selective attitude will bear fruit ... We are still in Limonte ... fly down! And anyway, the real classy restaurants treat any type of customer with gloves !! We will not be returning!

Nice place but it is a really bad idea to move Ibiza to the mountain. Bad DJ with bad singers in the middle of the beginning of the afternoon, impossible to discuss and talk with our friends and the staff.
The same thing maybe 4-5h later would have been perfect.
Furthurmore the volum of the music was way to high.
(PS: Adapt you music to your guests, when the average age of your consumers is over 50 don't try to play DJ Snake or Drake)

Good luck with this concept
(The food is OK but nothing special)

Messy staff, they never know the pot to which table has to go..a mess and very messy..pretty exaggerated prices .. and to make matters worse the bill is done twice)))) because they are wrong and I have to pay ... The bill is made only once that I know ... check anything? All in black I guess ... it sucks ... it was the first and last time we go there ...

The location is suggestive if you find a place on the veranda. Exorbitant price (15 euros a pasta with tomato sauce for a child) also in relation to the quality of the food. Staff licked (sticky and facade courtesy) and inefficient, both in the accuracy of the service and in the waiting times.

Unfortunately, despite the enchantment of the landscape and the beauty of the chalet, the prices are extremely exaggerated (1 can of coke 5 euros). Are we in Saint Tropez by any chance?
They also do not accept the meal discount vouchers provided for by the Pred x children's book, even if their name is listed. They say they have not been affiliated for 1 year, but common sense would say that at least the vouchers already issued and in circulation should be accepted. Families have them in hand and it would be appropriate for them to be able to spend them.
If we had known, we would certainly have headed to another place, perhaps directed by a kinder and more smiling person.
We understand that maybe there is something that also clashes with the Lift and the ski school ?????

Finely restored chalet in perfect mountain style between Limone 1400 and Limonetto, high level location with a beautiful view.
Good standard food, courteous and helpful staff.
The only real flaw is the price, which is really too high: a minimum of 20 per dish and wines that are completely off the market (eg Nebbioli between 40 and 50 , a little "madness" for those who know the prices of these wines well) .
It is still worth a step, but beware that for a lunch of 2 dishes, wine (the cheapest) and coffee are 74 per person!

What a mediocre reception because of this person at the bar on Christmas day who by his attitude has spoiled the magic of the place and especially the desire to come after 10 years of attendance! He will recognize by his red vest (prefers yellow) that he thinks to take the size xxl

We have just returned from a family of 4 which went well overall.
Why 3/5? Because given the price of the rooms which is 4 stars the suite is a little less.
The new managers are committed to serving you, the staff are friendly and helpful.

The strong points :
The quality of construction
The breathtaking natural decor
The bedding
Site decoration
The spa.
The ski room with individual heated locker for shoes
Geographical location on the slopes

Points of improvement:
Adapt the bathroom and the rooms to ski users (clothes and towels drying)
Harmonize and operate all the lights
Offer a full breakfast from 8 am to 7.45 am
Offer a large format elec socket for certain computers.
Offer drinks in the room fridge
No fireplace or stove although the place really lends itself what a pity
Expensive restoration for the result

Concerning the station: it has not changed with the times. No apres ski, no trade, you are safe from slipping your money. Weak restoration.

The extraordinary ski area. Very well prepared slopes with top snow, safe off-piste.

To conclude, you can test this hotel without risk which small feature will come if you are looking for if you arrive after 4:45 pm by snowmobile because there is no other access than by the slopes and its severe climb ......

It remains for the new management to align the quality of service and the benefits at the prices it charges ...

Have a good end of season at Chalet MOREL

Magnificent location, live music on a sunny terrace, beautiful rooms not to mention the SPA with WHIRLPOOL sauna and Turkish bath. Everything SUPER from BREAKFAST (JUICE, FRESH FRUIT, TARTS, CROISSANT, YOGURT ...) for lunch, delicious burgers, polenta and venison or with cheeses served in the boiling pan, for DINNER a lot of choice between excellent fillets, legume soups, pork knuckle and all with abundant vegetable side dishes !!!! and live music on the terrace for lunch, dancing with boots. Very good and nice Julie always available to satisfy any customer request. In short, for a holiday with your partner or family this place is magnificent and then .... being able to put your skis on ... after breakfast .... is priceless !!!

The place is nice but I paid for two focaccias stuffed with cooked and cheese and a coke for the beauty bottle of 19 euros.
A real theft.
Maybe they didn't understand that I'm in Limone and not in Trentino.
Much more attentive to appearance than to substance.
For me, I rejected it above all because I don't see the mountain as a place made of snobs and people with the stench under the nose.
And there it is.

I don't get it why people don't stay there! It's very charming and it seems like tourists are just coming for the day to visit the area and sleep some place else while this place is really nice. Large rooms with great views, beautiful bathrooms, OK...the mattresses need to be upgraded to a new level of comfort. But overall it is very cosy and quiet. The food is simple but good and breakfast offered a nice selection of sweets...the Italian breakfast :-) I would go again when it snows and stay there for sure.

I ate today at the morel chalet. The location is magnificent and the food of a higher quality than what they serve in the other lodges. The prices are a bit higher than the average but are consistent with the proposal.
The owner, Marino, is a bit "brusque" at first, then becomes more polite.
The staff is very good, perhaps a little intimidated by the owner.
Doesn't accept Amex.

We entered this beautiful place to eat a sandwich, and we found ourselves facing a difficult choice: focaccia with cooked ham, or focaccia with raw ham? After having noticed with pleasure the vastness of sandwich proposals, we opted for two focaccias and a portion of French fries, accompanied by a coke and a small bottle of water, for the modest sum of thirty euros. All without receipt receipt or table service. After reading the responses of the property's owner to some reviews, which certainly also include mine, I recommend posting a sign in which you specify that your premises is not suitable for us mere mortals, since "there are many lemon trees other proposals ".

Nice place but crazy prices for the place ..... The owner is also very unpleasant ...... Prices that are good only for those coming from Montecarlo ..... A platter of cold cuts with salami, coppa, and speck and 4 pieces of cheese for 2 people for 40 euros ... absurd .... .. It was the first and last time ........ if you really want to be plucked Before you sit down, get the menu with prices ..... So at least you know what you're going to meet .........

We ate in this beautiful hut on the slopes, unfortunately the choice of sandwiches was scarce, only raw and cooked ham that soon ran out. We ordered a rib which had a bad smell and when we reported it to the managers they said it was marinating, not indicated in the menu. They have not tried to remedy the problem in any way. Another negative note the sugar was served loose in large bowls uncovered on the counter, really unhygienic !!!

Default and bad organization.
During a skiing weekend, spent in the town of Limone, we find ourselves eating in this chalet, attracted by the beautiful terrace and the little Sunday crowding.
Entered, we were greeted by the screams and cackles of the staff, the nervousness of the alleged owner and his little desire to heat a sandwich (which was then served cold). To top it off, we order a Battuta and some French fries, in addition to the aforementioned sandwiches, which were served at the counter after at least 30 minutes. The nice presence of the waiters, equipped with shirts and bow ties, does not in the least reflect the quality of the restaurant.

Restaurant located on the slopes but also accessible by foot from the chairlift. The owners have turned a crowded self into a classy and classy restaurant. Few tables but reservation possible. Quality cuisine, beautiful map. Prices slightly above average, but which corresponds to the level of the proposal. DJ on the terrace in good weather for a very pleasant lounge spirit.

Perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the coast. Food is delicious, rooms were spacious and light and comfortable. Wine list was fantastic. The chef was very accommodating to my dietary requirements which is also a massive bonus. We were made to feel very welcome and I couldn't recommend enough. We will see you soon for some skiing for sure!!
