Hotel AC Baqueira

We recently stayed at this hotel The hotel is amazing, but what really makes the difference is the staff and particularly Carina. She is absolutely amazing and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. If every hotel had more people like her, Airbnb would have a hard time surviving. Carina was always waiting when we returned from skiing with a smile, Cava and Gluten Free cookies. Thank you Carina!

One of the most frustrating 5 starts that I have ever been. The room is quite good but if you are paying 670 per night is just correct, except for the bathroom totally opened to the room and with 0 privacy.
About the rest of the services....the Spa is small, the restaurant is a mess and quality vs price is so bad that you ll never respeat.
The waiters are so nice but there is no govern or direction at all and they are almost all the time completely lost.
My recoemndation to the people.....try with any other option in the village.
My suggestion to the hotel....check who is using the room number to pay the bill, because a dinner of 350 were charged to our room without any notification and the people in the front desk couldn t answer anything about it.
And also if you have a client that it s going to pay 4000 is not correct charge an extra 75 for the late checkout.....no comments.
I ll be back but for sure not there.

This hotel falls far below what we expected from 800 a night stay.

The greeting at reception was warm and encouraging but from there it all went downhill.

Cons:

- Rooms were stifling hot, turned what we thought was air con right down only to get a flood of water from the air con unit at 2am

- In the room, shower door was broken resulting in a flood, window handle was broken so couldn t open, house keeping service wasn t until 4pm+, turn down service didn t happen 2 out of 3 nights.

- service in restaurant was at best terrible. Party of 8, main courses came out individually, the last one where everyone else had completely finished. We asked for grilled salmon off menu and the reply was literally I ll ask but the chef is a bit mean and probably won t do it .

Pros

- good service from ski rental, although very, very limited equipment choice in hotel

- Some table service staff were excellent (Jesus, Lucia)

- Great location for access to the mountain

Wow. Amazing place!! Antonio, Alvaro and the staff were amazing!! Our room was incredible, the restaurant was incredible, the service was incredible, the skying was incredible. I highly recommend it!!

Super hotel, great food and fantastic service. Highly recommended!

Great location next to the gondola and good services provided, although room rates can be pricey. Breakfast has a great selection to set you up for a morning on the slopes.
