Despite appearing competent initially, they prescribed an Amlodipine dose double the maximum recommended amount for months, leading to severe leg edema. They failed to warn me that even standard dosages can cause this side effect. After another doctor caught the error, I was told the high dose was only temporary, yet it continued for five months without notification. It’s alarming to feel like the staff is negligent and putting your health at risk during your visit.

I went to see Dr. Tom Hopkins with high expectations given his reputation, but my experience was frustrating. Even though I have a PPO insurance plan, I was never able to actually see the doctor himself. To make matters worse, I was prescribed a blood pressure medication that felt like a heavy overdose. It’s a shame because it seemed like they cared, but the execution was lacking.
