This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company. Homeworks started the insulation project in 2019 and these photos are still what my house looks like here in 2021.

The first photo is where holes were made to blow in insulation from the in side. When I went to repair the holes myself, I found that there was 0 insulation at all blown in (which I was charged for). I was lied to and was left with a wall full of holes to repair myself. Since then I have had to play contractor with their company and cannot get anyone from Homeworks to resolve this. I have wasted my time with 10+ visits from crews only to tell me that schedulers had messed up and they didn't have what was needed to perform the work.

I rarely, if at all make complaints as a customer. I have given HomeWorks every opportunity over close to 2 years to make this right. My next recourse will have to be inform Mass Save, BBB and escalate to legal action if necessary.

Home Works came and blew insulation into my walls. They did a great job even in the pouring rain. The crew was very polite and professional. I highly recommend getting a home energy assessment, and insulation if you need it. This is a great program!

I can t say enough about the work Home Works did installing our AC system. They gave me a great price, and went above and beyond getting everything done quickly,efficiently and they cleaned up after themselves. The employees I dealt with were polite and knew what they were doing. I m so impressed with their work I m having them come back to get our insulation up to code. Most importantly, They do a great job and their work is guaranteed. I trust them to do the right thing.

We called National Grid and they referred us to a company to schedule a home energy audit. The gentleman who came to our house was very informative and knew exactly what to check. He pointed out a couple areas where insulation was needed in the basement. He gave us energy saving lightbulbs and a new thermostat. Next, we scheduled an appointment with HomeWorks Energy. They came out and went right to work. They performed a test at the front door to check how tight the house is and performed a second one when they were finished. They cleaned up after themselves and were very pleasant, answering all our questions. We are very pleased with this company and grateful for their time and energy. They are professional as well. We highly recommend them.

Great team! Thy arrive on time, do the job and leave your home as if they were never there...but with improvements! They clean everything they touch and review each upgrade to be sure you understand what was done and why. And they will answer any questions you have along the way. Fantastic experience!

Services: Ductless heating and AC services, Heating maintenance

This is a group from Mass Save which evaluates your energy improvements. I had a virtual experience where I provided photos of different areas of my home as well as photos of HVAC system. I was asked questions and then a report was emailed to me an hour later. Everything was covered in a timely manner. I was very pleased with all aspects of my energy audit.

The home energy assessment completed by Abe from HomeWorks Energy was comprehensive and professional. The process and program were thoroughly explained and the available services will go a long way to reduce our carbon footprint. As a multifamily home, we qualify for a no cost insulation upgrade which should be completed within a few weeks. Very satisfied.

Services: AC maintenance, Heating maintenance

Once approved for the Mass Save loan, they were able to book me in later that week. 4 guys came in took out my old boiler and popped in a new one in 3.25 hours. A couple of hours later the electric was connected in 30 minutes and it was all DONE! Can't wait to try out my new boiler come winter time!

This review is strictly in regards to my mass save insulation project.

To start the field manager Brian was awesome at keeping me informed and what was being done next.

However, the crew working on the insulation overall was mediocre. They were a bit late but that didn't bother me as I was working from home. This may not be the case for everyone. I loved that the 2 crew members told me they were both not vaccinated and will keep their masks on. The wasn't the case for 1 guy who kept taking his mask off majority of the time ( I have an infant In the house). As they finished the job it was clear they did a bad job cleaning. I give them effort for trying but I had to do a full sweep.

The worst part for me was that they left dried insulation on the floor, which was super hard to clean. It was easily accessible by my infant child so my wife franticallycleaned with all sorts of ways found on YouTube. But here's pictures of it all over my washing machine.

Hired via Mass Save for audit and they installed insulation. In doing so, they needed to cut the wall in two places so they could blow in the insulation. When they put the drywall back, it s a real mess. We were informed going into that they would put the drywall back and patch around it. That s fine, but the job they did is an absolute mess. In the process of sanding it it in preparation for painting, I found that it doesn t even fit to cover the holes. One is bulging out, for the other they taped it into place with blue painters tape, then spackled (overspackled) around it. In one hole, they didn t even use the right piece of drywall that they had cut out (deduced from the fact I still have the correct piece and it s not in the wall). I wished I would have told them to leave it and I would fix it myself. Now the job is far harder than it has to be.
