It takes too long to find or to sell a homeβ10 weeks on average to search for a home to buy and 12 weeks to sell a home. AI can improve this but seller-focused property websites and Multiple Listing Service (MLSβs) have no incentive or ability to change. Zillow does not want to disrupt $750M of ad revenues and the 850 MLSβs are agent-only tools and each organization does not have the ability, funds and scale to introduce AI.
