We have done some zoom puppy training sessions during lock down and it has been amazing! Selina's demonstrations and instructions were really clear and easy to replicate at home on our own. I would highly recommend her classes and can't wait to be able to attend some classes in person!
Selina has been a great help when we decided to add a new pup to our pack. We purchased the pre puppy pack and now we feel so much more confident on the arrival of our new pup. Thanks again. Looking forward to working with her again soon.
A trainer who listens and works with you - she is realistic and makes you think in a different way - I cant yet say our dog is perfect but she definitely isn't the problem dog she was when we went to Selina 3 months ago. Thank you for helping us turn her around :)
What a fantastic dog trainer Selina is. I haven't met anyone else so knowledgable on dogs! She's a patient, passionate dog lover. My bulldogs absolutely love her. Over the years I have seen her go above and beyond for the community. I have also completed her 'understanding dogs' course which was fantastic and helped me so much to pass my boarding license inspection. Can't recommend her any higher and always hearing great feedback from my clients who also use her training services.

Met Selina yesterday for a 1:1 session to help me with our new border terrier 8 month old pup Pixie. Not having owned a puppy before I felt I needed some guidance with basics. We had taken Pixie to a village hall training group where several dogs all trailed around the room attempting to do the same thing....! I just felt there was something lacking but I wasn t sure of what it was. Definitely no individual attention, after 2 sessions I did not know what we would gain from this type of training.
After a bronze 1:1 session with Selina I feel empowered! It might sound like an exaggeration but her enthusiasm and positivity are catching. She has given me lots of ideas and lots of information so I can do my own research. And we start dog training classes with her in a few weeks. Just small classes of 6 dogs max, where I know we ll get the individual attention we need to be able to learn. I want to develop a solid relationship with my dog and I have no doubt Selina will help us achieve that.
Hedingham Hounds visited and gave, informative, clear guidance on a way forward with our training. Techniques were practiced under supervision, with home work set.
Selina is fantastic at what she does. Very knowledgeable and brilliant with puppies/dogs of all ages. I would highly recommend attending one of her classes, you won't be disappointed
I had several training sessions with Selina, my issue was that I could not recall my puppy out of play. My puppy being 42kg at 8 months meant that many dogs and owners did not appreciate her lively play. Selina taught me methods to recall her but also taught me that I actually have a nervous dog which I would never have known if she hadn't pointed out the body language my dog was showing. Selina has given me the info I need to ensure I do not set my dog up to fail, and now I know when she is nervous or does not like another dog so I can take her out of that situation. The notes that Selina sent me was super helpful and I saw a massive improvement in my dog since the first training session. On top of that, Selina suggested that I find a smaller dog for Ginnie to meet and a couple of days later she put me in contact with another client of hers that was looking for bigger dogs to walk with. I am super happy to have found a dog trainer that has experience working with big, strong willed dogs (Selina owns an american bulldog). Couldn't recommend highly enough !!
Selina was fab and really helped me with my dog Chester who is scared if different noises. She has given me lots of ideas and techniques to try with him and they are great I can't recommend her enough. I will definitely return in the future if I need her help again.
