The RAF Habbaniya Association is a group that brought together people interested in RAF Habbaniya and its associated and predecessor stations and units in Iraq, as well as RAF Iraq Command. Its activities cover several former RAF sites, including RAF Habbaniya, RAF Dhibban, RAF Hinaidi, RAF Shaibah, RAF Basrah, the Civil Cantonments, AHQ Iraq, PAIFORCE, the leave camp at Ser Amadia, RAF Amman, and RAF Mafraq in Jordan. The Association shared historical information, photographs, maps, and cemetery details related to these locations, and also preserved content from related websites such as those of RAF Mauripur and 244 Squadron. The Association closed down in the autumn of 2021, with its archives deposited at the RAF Regiment Heritage Centre, though the website continues to keep the memory of RAF Habbaniya alive and provide updates on cemetery restoration projects.
