For as someone who started deiving back in 2012. Ive played the company to comany game. Always trying to find that one or two things that was missing. It always seem to be pay or the family feel. Then one day after my surgery i was on Facebook look at everyone ones post. Then this small company called Gt Express Inc popped up. I thouhht this is just another company just like the rest. I had my doubts and worrys, but i said what the heck let's give them a try. From day one the owner shook my had and ask " how are you do you need anything?" And i aaid not at this time but if i do i will let you know. From that day forward i knew that i had found the company that was not like the rest a company where you are treat like family 100%. If i had to it all over again no doubt in my mind it would be Gt Express. Thank you to George and your wife and family for everything you do.

Yall got a driver in New mexico off i40 between marker 154 and 160 right now at 7:57pm who thought it was a good idea to ride the bumper of a mini van with kids and flash his lights. Current weather is off and on storms. Not sure why we needed to move out of his way but not cool never a good reason to do that to a mini van. Especially while speeding in a big truck. Trailer # 551 411. Keeps switching lanes and getting way to close to other trucks and cars as well. Hope yall get this.

Do not go and work for them , Russian dispatchers, rude front office, unorganized, and if they owe you money good luck because will stop picking up the phone

I am glad I have never worked here. I called to get information, since they have been constantly sending messages via Facebook messenger and text messages. I finally caved and called with no expectations to actually leave where I am, but figured I would see what they were offering. They wouldn't answer my questions via the messenger app, just kept saying "put in your application and we can further this conversation." Now, im not going to blindly apply to any company without knowing what I'm getting into. When I called, the first woman who answered, (apologize as I forgot her name) didnt have answers to the most simple questions. Top it all, she tells me that I can call the shop to get the answers I'm looking for. Not a good start. She said she would call me right back with the answer to the question I was asking, but after about 30 minutes with no call back, I decided to call back. Thats when I got a recruiter by the name "Chris". I'm guessing either Christy, or Chrissy maybe, but she just said Chris. Anyway, she had the answer I was looking for, but was extremely rude when I was just asking questions about the equipment. As far as im concerned, I would never recommend this company to anyone. Thank God I never applied. I would rather work for Swift Transportation then these idiots.

My husband worked for them. Met all their requirements and still when he left got charged $1200.00

Worst carrier out there. Did not arrive as scheduled. They offered no options to recover. They also are unorganized and the staff was very inconsiderate after putting us in a critical situation. 100% will never use this carrier again. I will also refer all of my all distributors to never utilize this vendor and see to it that this is well known.

Great company!! George and his Wife and Allen the shop and my dispatch treated me really good never ever had a issue! I left because I bought my truck and I live in the Baltimore area and Dry Bulk pays really good as Owner Operator. And I have GT to thank for helping me make good money to buy my truck. And I will always miss flatbed. When I told Allen and George I was leaving they were so greatfull and wish me the best. And I got my escrow back like they told me from day1 and if your here bashing this company and snitching about logs you need to find a different career because trucking is not for you!!! Thx GT!!

Came to work hear with low expectations... thought it was going to be like every other company out there.....from the owner to my fleet manager to my dispatcher everyone top to bottom hear is awesome and everyone is always trying to improve the company as a whole. Small company with big ideas..if your willing to do the job your hired for, with the bonus of knowing you have the company behind you then come on let's go to work....this company will literally go out of their way to help you and be flexible with you and your needs.. this is trucking at it's best. Hear I can love what I do again instead if it being a job

This is a bad company to work for they tell you how great it will be there .after you get started they tell you to call the office Lady's to have your logs fixed no reset needed.. they have alot of very bad drivers and I know there's two drug users . And the driver manager is a jerk that I can prove by call recordings and is always drunk he has no respect for any one. When you ask for help he's to busy to help but yet he's the driver manager.. I don't smoke but yet he's smoking in my truck and has his dog in the cab of my truck .. then the mechanics are worthless and do not respect any one or your truck getting grease in the cab and oil hand prints on the out side. You can only wash itionce a month.. then I tried to call to put in my two weeks notice .no one like George or Allen the driver manager didn't answer the phone. So I told my dispatch that I was quiting .so when I left ira the owners wife was refusing to return my escrow.. every one in the office is in a hurry and treat you bad... BEWAR STAY AWAY.....

It is a great place to work and the owner takes time out to meet the drivers and talk to them.

And amazing trucking company stated out of Makena Illinois friendly workers and staff very nice vehicles awesome pay of $.50 per mile and awesome team driver availability and flexibility
