Pit stop on the way home. Great little place to eat!! Homemade chips made daily wow soooooo good. Tried the fried alligator nothing fancy about that. Crab cake sandwich was pretty good very fresh. Angus burger cooked to perfection. Cobb salad with grilled chix better than expected!! Every thing was fresh nothing seemed frozen or dry. Waitress very helpful and extra sweet. Gave us tips for the town! Highly recommend to stop and eat.

One of my favorite places for dinner. We went today for Sunday brunch. The service was terrible. Every waitress there was going as fast as she could but there were not enough of them to take care of the diners. Asked for more syrup twice but when it was finally brought to the table the pancakes were too cold and tough to eat. When we asked for more coffee we were told the coffee machine was broke. We wont be going back for Sunday brunch again.

I waited a few days before posting this to see if how I felt would pass. It did not. My wife and I have frequented Green Leag together and with family, a number of times and always had great food and service even if we had a wait. This past weekend however while waiting for my wife and I went to sit at the bar we were having a private conversation and I no sooner sat down and the "bartender/manager" decided to inject himself into our conversation in a rather aggressive manner and I, unfortunately, and out of my nature fell for his game and rebutted and he began an argument with me. +I even told him that he injected himself into a private conversation and said we would be happy to leave and take out business elsewhere. He stated he did not need or want my business so we left. I returned to ask the hosted who this man was and if he was the manager he immediately began to verbally attack me in front of other guests reasserting his apparent dominance and assuring me he was the manager and they were no one else above him for me to talk to. We left went to another restaurant and had a wonderful dinner and to say the least were treated with respect.

I had the fresh local yellowfin tuna special and it was fantastic! The service is always attentive and the live music was perfect. It is also a great value. It is clear to me that the management cares about their guests and wants to provide a memorable experience every time you come. I recommend this restaurant. I am a chef and have worked in the foodservice industry for 30 years.

The locale is very welcoming, providing a modern atmosphere that's a nice break from the old school Americana vibes of downtown Waynesboro. As for the prices, I do think they're a bit on the expensive side, considering the quality of the food. It's not bad by any means, but neither is it the feast for the senses its setting would lead you to believe.

Absolutely wonderful. Small and very cozy atmosphere. Folk singer with a guitar. Simple gorgeous art. Dress up, dress down, you will fit in! Shared crab stuffed hushpuppies. Oh my. Bacon wrapped scallops
Rice to die for. Green beans. Oh dont forget the side salad. For dessert 2 mocha and banana fosters. And feel full but not sick full. The service was exceptional. I watched all the servers seemed like they loved what they were doing
Left feeling great. Thank you

Wonderful Cajun restaurant in quaint setting with weekend player. Drunken shrimp, crab cakes, duck, and gumbo are all delicious. Also the chicken fettuccine is scrumptious. Try the hush puppies appetizer. Their hurricane drink makes you feel like you are back on Bourbon Street. Best restaurant in Waynesboro/Wintergreen area.a

Just finished a delicious dinner at The Green Leaf. We were in town for a weekend get-a-way and found the reviews too good to pass up! Atmosphere and food fantastic and the best part was our waitress, Kara!! What a sweetheart and so attentive! We will definitely be back!!

This is our favorite place to eat in Waynesboro. Recommend everything on the menu. Personal favorites are the lasagna, coconut curry and beet salad. Husband likes the steak and fried fish specials. Service is outstanding and friendly. Reservations are a good idea on Friday and Saturday nights.

Nice break from the chain restaurants. Stopped there while traveling on business and had an excellent meal. Shrimp and grits was very good with a nice mix of vegetables. Rockfish fillet was flaky and tasted great. Even the rice was cooked to perfection Will definitely return there on my next trip.

Love this place, many options to choose from. My favourite appetizer is the spinach with homemade chips. I would really like to go here for dinner sometime because the menu is extensive, but I have only been during lunch time. Luckily they do have a paper lunch menu with the daily specials.

My husband took me for a late Mother's Day dinner, this afternoon. Everything was totally awesome, as usual! He had the oyster dinner. The oysters were huge, and perfectly prepared! I had the pan seared duck breast. It was delicious! We recommend The Green Leaf Grill, every chance we get!!

We stumbled upon this place by accident while on a motorcycle trip in the rainiest weather. This place is beautiful inside, very nice staff, very welcoming and food was delicious and quick. We ordered off the Sunday brunch menu and the prices were as to be expected. Danielle was the waitress. There was also a lively jazz musician playing just as soon as we arrived. This was the sunny spot on a very dreary trip!
I will be back whenever I return to this area, I wish it was closer to home, it s seems to be a local treasure.
Just beware that the signage isn t necessarily clear.

This restaurant is awesome!! The waitstaff is super attentive and friendly. The food is consistently cooked as ordered and tastes delicious. Portions are good size but not too much. Live music (acoustic guitar) most nights - they bring in quality local musicians and the volume is just right - tasteful background noise but we were still able to sit and have good conversations. Well stocked bar with plenty of local/ craft beers and ciders.

We walked in and were seated immediately. There was beautiful live guitar-playing. However, after being seated we were neither greeted by our waitress nor served. After maybe ten minutes of waiting with no service, we decided to leave because the wait, with that lack of service, was most definitely not worth the expensive price of the restaurant's food.
