Service was great. Food was just what we wanted. I highly recommend Grassroots.

Lovely evening at Grassroots. Had a friendly server, Felicia. Really enjoyed the delicious bread service. The pork chop was well cooked. I opted for a side of the stomach and Kale which was so good! My partner has the chicken and ribs, both thoroughly enjoyed. The key lime pie was the perfect finish to the meal...not too sweet but hit the spot!

Fast and friendly service. Trendy style (some drinks come in mason jars); the outdoor seating is very nice. Good vegetarian options and an accommodating kitchen.

Excellent food, small and cozy restaurant. Great place to take a date who likes bbq!

The service is always friendly and attentive. I've never had a bad meal here. Always go with whatever they have on special. Go-to side dishes are the cheddar jalapeno grits or shoe-string fries.

Super yummy all the way around. Started pre-dinner at the bar with their Cadillac Margherita and never made it to the table. The restaurant is warm and inviting the service is wonderful. We had the shrimp and grits and the short rib and grits. Best grits I've ever had the short ribs with sauce delicious. Ended the night with homemade key lime pie. Five thumbs up and a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary.

Some of the best brisket I have ever had. Fantastic all around. Wife's salmon good. She even liked the asparagus, and does not generally. Service spectacular- kept my iced tea full throughout my dining experience. Easy to see why folks are always waiting to get in.

Found this place on some "top places to eat in Scottsdale" lists and after seeing the reviews and ratings decided to try it out... it did not disappoint!! The food was fresh, flavorful, and well presented, not to mention DELICIOUS! The service was great! Oh, and the brownie we had for dessert was amazing! It had salted caramel sauce and ice cream and was the perfect way to end our date-night dinner! I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Don't get the salmon. Everything else is amazing. Ask about the off menu drinks

Quaint, romantic, a little noisy. Cocktail menu was superb (whiskey). Great menu, sauces are a little too sweet if you are watching sugars. Hostess very polite, waitstaff absolutely zero in the personality/ enthusiasm category. I would recommend and return despite stiff as a board servers.

The people at this location were so helpful and friendly! Our server went out of her way to make sure all items on my order were gluten free down to the dressing! She was informative, compassionate and gave great recommendations for my husband (who can eat!). Great food, tasty drinks. I can't say enough about this location. I hope the one back home in Dallas is the same.

This place was amazing! From the beautiful decor and layout, to the simple, straightforward menu... The first looks were great. The wait staff grabbed our drink orders and the samples from their tap list, and then immediately put the kids' meals in, knowing that hungry kids make trouble. Wife ordered the brisket sandwich and a salad, I had the burger with pork belly and fries. SO MUCH FOOD! Our kids' meals all came with the entree, fries, grapes (already cut in half for the little mouths), and they got a ticket to go next door to the ice cream shop for a treat after! Everything tasted wonderful, and the staff was amazing. If we weren't just visiting, this would be a biweekly must for my family. As it stands, we will be back next time we visit the in-laws!

Ate here last night and it was excellent. The bread service app with the sourdough bread, butter and oil is by far the best bread I ve ever had. In addition, both my husband and I loved our meals. Will definitely go back.

This place is fantastic! Went with a big group and we all got different but equally delicious meals! I can t wait to go again.

During this time of COVID, we found Grassroots. The Shrimp and Grits were amazing. Highly recommend.

My first time here and I was pleasantly impressed especially with the service at the bar! I ordered the pork belly with jalapeno grits and the brased short ribs, and let me just say the pork belly was on point!! The short ribs were pretty good it was a little dry in certain areas but all in all not bad for such thick pieces.

Had an awesome dinner Thursday night. They did a fabulous job of social distancing, brought disinfectant and staff all wore gloves and masks. But I went for the food and it was fabulous. The filet and chicken dishes were top notch. Unlike some other local restaurants (HOUSTONS) that can't seem to offer a full menu and take advantage of customers by actually increasing prices and offering items previously Included now as sides..

This restaurant is top notch for those into healthy eating. The food is fresh and delicious, with sizable menu options. The ambiance and decor is perfect. Easy to get a seat most of the time.

ALWAYS DELICIOUS! Wine on tap and food is GREAT! I always get the FARMER S VEGETABLE CHOP + salmon or the tri tip sandwich if it is on special. Yesterday they had a cauliflower special as a side instead of fries, YUMMY!!!!! Accidently got the Club House salad but it was great too! Highly recommend!

The restaurant is very modern and clean and they are practicing social distance. The restaurant week menu also had some good choices. Overall the food was very good. Definitely a place to visit again.

Excellent atmosphere- Clean, fresh and mellow. Food was awesome. We came as a family with young kids and had no issues. Establishment was conversely appropriate for adults only. Not a cheap date kind of place-worth the moderate price.
