Our History

Global University was founded in 1959 as Berean Bible Institute by Rev. William Menchhofer in Springfield, Missouri. The school's initial focus was on providing biblical training for ministers who could not attend traditional seminaries due to financial or geographical constraints.

Over the years, the school expanded its programs beyond ministerial training to include undergraduate and graduate degrees in various fields of study such as business administration, psychology, intercultural studies among others.

In 1999 Berean Bible Institute changed its name officially became Global University reflecting its global reach through distance learning programs offered worldwide.

Today Global university has over 20 regional offices around the world serving more than 15 thousand students annually from over 150 countries worldwide.
