Wonderful experience. The art looks unreal!
I am one of those who hate seeing caged animals, but I have to admit that most of the animals don t look captured or sad at the property.
I will definitely try to go back.

This is a national treasure.

This is a national treasure.
Would love to see it open to the public some more.
Very well considered placements.
Fantastic that the artists are supported in this way. Love it.
Would suit an underground art gallery as not to interrupt the landscape.
Hope the owners make it clear that it's to be ...

A must see range of sculptures spread across a very large farm land out in the country with exotic animals as a bonus. To visit is free but the farm is only open to visitors a few times a year and must be booked normally a year in advance. It's very lucky that Alan Gibbs opens this to the public for...

My wife had a fantastic day out with her mum aged 88. She loved it and nailed the whole walk. Thank you Gibbs Farm for opening your wonderful farm of sculptures, animals and views to die for and your generosity to Victim Support.

We were the when the weather was fine and, so, found it a beautiful and enjoyable experience. The sculptures, animals and views were interesting and engaging. Allow for at least 2 hours (or 4 hours if at a leisurely pace) to get around to all the sights. Highly recommended.

This is a highly recommended spot. Advance reservations are required to get to this farm, and online reservations fill up quickly.
If you have a schedule that is accepting reservations, we recommend that you make a reservation immediately. You lose the opportunity to go while you are at a loss.

Book this place well in advance in early 2007 . Manage to secure a date in November to enter Gibbs farm. This is a place of serenity . Amazing sculptures that will blow your mind away looking at the sheer size of things . My suggestion is to bring good walking shoes , sun lotion , lots of water. The...

If you get a ticket, this place is an absolute must, I went for the awesome photo ops but it's just a generally awesome all day trip. Keep in mind the farm is very strict about it's opening hours, 10-2, to get the most out of it, make sure you start on time, go early for the coffee and toilet breaks...

I give this 4 stars despite not visiting the site. You can see some of the large large sculptures from the road. They are magnificent, standing on the horizon.

In the field you can also see real Giraffe as well as a larger Giraffe sculpture.

To visit you have to book an go on one of their open...

I am dreaming to get to this farm for last five years (I wasn't living in NZ, but visited several times during this period). At the moment I am living in NZ. I am monitoring Gibbs farm website for last several months, but can't see any dates to sign up. If somebody know what's the reason? Or may be ...

It's hard to judge an elitist place that you can only visit by appointment only, on four possible days for the entire summer, all of which are booked out months in advance. The sculptures look really cool in the distance from the road as you drive by, tho. Bet it's nice if you can get in. :(

An extraordinary collection of large scale sculptures by renowned international artists set in a beautiful rolling landscape on the edge of a large natural harbour. Throw in a few assorted exotic animals and you've got a pretty surreal, and pretty mind bogglingly wonderful day out.

This place is amazing and very special that is not open to the public full time. I had liked the Facebook page to be able to catch when events were going to go on sale and that s how I managed to get tickets! The place is as incredible as it looks in photos with loads of great animals.

Such an amazing day! We walked around looking at the art on the property while listening to Auckland Symphony Orchestra. We picked up our bag lunch half way around and sat in the grass on a blanket with a bottle of wine and had lunch. Gibbs Farm is such a great place for special events. There are a...
